Peaceful stay for a week. Beautiful elevated location with panoramic views. Rocabella restaurant at the bottom of the track was great if you dont feel like venturing out far, with a varied menu from light bites to main dishes with burgers, steaks and fish.. My advice would would be to grab some basic groceries from a supermarket prior to going up to the house i.e coffee, bread eggs , drinks etc. I travelled with my ederly mother and the accomodation was suitable for our needs as she is unable to manage steps. There is one twin room downstairs with a bathroom and walk in shower which is next to the kitchen , lounge and outside patio so easy access for her with limited mobility. its would not be suitable for a wheelchair however. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with doors opening onto a patio with table and chairs, perfect for your morning coffee to relish the sun rise and sunsets, and also affording privacy if travelling with others in your group. I throughly enjoyed my stay. 😊

We spent a few days a week ago with our dogs and we are sure that if we can, we will return. The pool area is spectacular and the perfect place to unwind and relax. Maricarmen and Pepe are charming and helpful. The dogs became friends with Lobo and they could have stayed there with him😀 Highly recommended. 10/10

A lovely villa in beautiful surroundings. we were very comfortable and had everything we needed, plus the tomatoes from Juan Antonio's garden were absolutely delicious. The pool was perfect for the kids and it was so peaceful. Great bar nearby in Restabal. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much :)

We were a family of three generations with 4 children, 8 and under. We all had a wonderful, relaxing time. The large, spectacular pool was ideal for adults and children and the small shallow area allowed the youngest children to play safely. The veranda provided welcome shade for breakfast and lunch and a magical setting to dine, overlooking the illuminated pool and garden on balmy evenings. The house was spacious and well equipped, including a large barbecue in the garden, and the air-conditioning was effective. Ana was welcoming and responded quickly to any requests. Temperatures reached the high 30s most days, but we avoided the mid afternoon heat and took full advantage of the warm evenings. Castro del Rio is very different from the coastal tourist hotspots but has several restaurants, a couple of supermarkets and a picturesque centre around the castle. Cordoba and large supermarkets are a short drive away. We would love to return!

The perfect stay at Cristina’s beautiful house in Pampaneira! The town was gorgeous and we felt right at home! Cristina’s instructions were easy to follow and the house had everything you needed and more. Also provided flexible check out times which was a bonus! Will definitely be visiting again :)

The stay at Angel's "Las Lavaderas" was excellent. Due to the quiet and private atmosphere, we recovered well. A perfect place to relax. The house is equipped with everything you need. Communication with Angel worked perfectly, friendly and always promptly.

Very cozy stay. In the middle of nature to disconnect from everything. Close to Antequera and with a spectacular setting. Antonio, the host, is charming and very attentive. The house is very clean and with all the amenities. We had a very good weekend. Totally recommended. We will be back.

The house was great - very spacious for four of us. The location is about 10 min from the end of the Caminito del Rey - we parked in El Chorro and appreciated not getting back on a shuttle bus to get to our car. The views are amazing and 360 around the house. It was hot weather while er were there but the AC works great, and plenty of shade by the pool. Groceries are not close by so stock up before you arrive! Juan was a great host!

The place is magnificent, in a very quiet area to disconnect and rest, and a pool to cool off from the heat. There are very nice nearby villages to visit. The house is very well located on a hill. The first time it was a little difficult to find it and get there by car, the last stretch is not paved. In our opinion, it would be necessary to renovate something in the house, and I would make it more welcoming. In general, I would stay again. A place to enjoy and very nice and attentive hosts to any suggestions or questions.

The house is beautiful and cozy! The village is beautiful and its people wonderful and Mari José was understanding with the arrival time! I wish we could have spent more time in the house and in the village!

We had a great stay in the apartment of Cortes. We were lucky that we were the only ones so we had the whole venue for ourselves. The house has thick walls so that means that it is cool inside. Also it is up on a hill which makes temperature nice during hot summer days. The house is in a quite residential area nearby Padul. You definitely need a car to go around. There is a Spar supermarket nearby. Padul is a small town in the province with some shops, bars and restaurants. Nice to have your coffee there in the morning. Cortes reacts very fast and comes up with suggestions in Granada or other places. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Granada this is your place to be!

Quiet place, no noise and no houses around. Perfect to disconnect for a few days. Maria Dolores was very helpful at all times, giving us flexibility in terms of check-in and check-out times. The house is quite spacious and has everything, we didn't miss anything. It provides bath gel and towels. Everything was very clean and well cared for. We will stay here again and recommend this place

What a wonderful place! The apartment was really equipped with every comfort, sparkling clean and also the baby cot was great. Rogier responds super quickly to the app, gives tips and is very flexible. Really a great host. But I was especially in love with the beautiful garden and the view was so neat and cared for. We have delicious barbecued outside in the very beautiful common area. The surroundings are quiet, but if you like the hustle and bustle, you can also look for it. Granada is a 25-minute drive away by car. The beach 30 min and the mountains even closer. Hopefully, we're coming back!

Our stay in this beautiful house was simply perfect! The stylish and lovingly thought-out furnishings impressed us from the very first moment. Every room exudes a pleasant atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. The many sunny spots around the house and the pool are particularly impressive - whether in the morning or late afternoon, there is always an idyllic place to relax in the sun and enjoy the peace and quiet. The surrounding area is just as dreamlike and we loved to explore El Torcál. All in all, it was an absolute oasis of well-being that we were reluctant to leave. A special THANK YOU to Lizzy, who lookes after the house and was always there to answer our questions. She knows the area, the people and even the animals in the area very well. So again- thank you for your warm hospitality - we will definitely be back!

Kim's place has a superb view on the Sierra Nevada, a highlight during our family trip. It offers a cosy, isolated stay in "real" Spain, with easy access to Granada. The house has everything you need. (We had some epic moments with our son on the bench press with a view on the mountains. ) We were not able to really dive deep into the pool. This early in the year in April 2025, the weather was exceptionally cool, but, the pool was available and fully functional! When the sun and the heat did come through, the sun deck and sunbathing chairs did give us a relaxing time in this great private and beautiful environment. The views are something nobody in our family will ever forget. And, I had to dip my toes into the water anyway, to cool down during the warmer weather. Nicolas and Kim are very responsive and proactive, and catered to our every need. We appreciate that a lot. Their recommendations on Alcala la Real and Priego de Cordoba were excellent.

Beautiful piece of glory. We were really surprised by the magic that space creates. Attention to the smallest detail. 😍 It was great to disconnect from reality among the palm trees and the bubbles of the jacuzzi (without detracting from the sound of the frogs that live in the waterfall's pool. Pepe is wonderful. He was attentive at all times to any need that might arise, and he also gave us directions to places to visit that were authentic discoveries. Totally recommended. We will definitely return, and next time it will be more days (we were only four and it was super short). Thank you very much for everything, Pepe. It was a luxury and a pleasure to rest from the world in your beautiful waterfall house.
