Vacation rentals in Albufeira da Barragem do Funcho

This was our first visit to Portugal and the Algarve and we wanted a really authentic experience. Our stay at Isabel's checked all the boxes and more. Isabel is wonderful and very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and our stay.

If you are looking for peace and beautiful nature the "little house" is for you. Picking oranges from the trees in the morning was just magical! The sound of the bees humming in the trees, the little geckos and sitting on the veranda with a glass of wine was bliss. The total privacy, the stars at night and the hammock made for a perfect holiday. Perfect little cabin, super clean, comfy bed and enough kitchen equipment to make meals was just perfect. Great full sized fridge and freezer. I loved the little outside kitchen and bathroom. Jacqueline and Rudd were super friendly, flexible with check in/out. Beautiful Silves is a short drive away as are the beaches of the Algarve. It would be a good idea to print out instructions to the "little house" before you arrive as there is totally no signal en route to it. Stop off at the snack bar on the way for some great piri piri chicken! Also pack a freezer bag to buy frozen goods etc from the nearby supermarkets.

Casa de Bandeira is one of the best Airbnb's I have stayed at. Didn't really know what to expect from Albufeira and it is a bit "lively" with bars etc. in town but this place is a complete oasis. Totally near enough for an easy walk to varied bars and restaurants in five minutes, but very quiet once inside. I'm sure it's easy enough to drive or Uber to supermarkets but there is a Spar a five minute walk away which is small but generally well stocked for convenience. The villa is just beautiful, spotless on arrival and cleaned every other day. Comfortable beds, nice linen and towels. Bathrobes and slippers provided. It is really spacious and you definitely do not feel on top of each other. The absolute piece de resistance though is the rooftop. Equipped with a small fridge, shower and toilet, it is an amazing place to spend the day and/or evening. Originally we decided not to heat the pool (May) but once we decided to do so, we spent hours in there. Thank you so much, we will be back!

A wonderful stay at Casa Stephanie! Nothing short of perfection :) We stayed 5 nights with my partner and our 3 year old daughter and truly enjoyed our experience. As soon as you head down the path leading to the house you feel the serenity of the surroundings - when you open the door to Casa Stephanie, the feeling continues. Janete provided great local recommendations which were highly appreciated - Aljezur has so much to offer and is sooo kid friendly. We also took full advantage of the beautiful outdoor space, starting our days with delicious homemade breakfasts overlooking the valley. My daughter loved swinging in the hammock and the ambiance at night is perfect for nice reading time. The house is conveniently located, you can access local shops, cafes & restaurants by foot and offers top comfort for restful sleeps. You have all the amenities you need and feel right at home. Do not hesitate a single second to book a memorable stay at Casa Stephanie! Obrigada Janete :)

Great place, very well furnished, including basic groceries which makes a big difference, also looks exactly like the photos. The host is proactive, friendly and always available and responsive. Clean, tidy, spacious, peaceful . We had a lovely stay, hope to be back!

Our stay was AMAZING! The apartment was exactly as described and was a perfect place for us to relax. As you can see in the photos, it's a 2 story and the deck space is amazing. Loved the layout, the close proximity to the beach, and all the restaurants in the area. We had a car and really appreciated the underground parking as well. Ana was phenomenal with her communication and check-in was very simple. In fact, Ana was incredible with her communication leading up to and during our stay. We were 2 couples and this was a great setup for us. 100% would recommend this apartment, and would love to stay again! Our 3 days in Portimao were super relaxing, which was exactly what we were looking for.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Nova. The host, Patrice met us on arrival and was very helpful. He was also very attentive during our stay. The villa was super. Everything we wanted and more. Would be great to stay again.

The house is very clean and very spacious. Everything is very qualitative. The environment is peaceful, very quiet and beautiful. The view is amazing! Cheryl was a very friendly host, as well as Jess, who was quite available and attentive to us.
