My stay was lovely. I wish I didn't have to leave. It's spacious, it's cosy, it's clean and it's beautiful. It honestly does feel like a way away from home. And Marie? An absolute sweetheart. I will definitely be returning.

Had a very seamless and pleasant stay, from check in to check out. Plenty of ways to stay warm during winter, with double electric blankets, gas heater, hot water bottles and warm sheets. Room is very spacious with a high ceiling. Location is very secure and private in a guarded estate.

Lovely peaceful oasis. Felt right at home and was the perfect place to rest! Both homey and beautiful space. Would love to stay again!

Peter was a great host. Greeted me, responded to all my messages but gave me a lot of privacy. When I didn’t need him, I never saw him. Location is about 15-20 minutes walking to shops which might be a little too far but uber is inexpensive. Greenside is centrally located if you’re doing things in Joburg north. The place was fairly basic but very clean and well-maintained. Had no issues with electricity, pests or sanitation. Would stay here again.

Renate’s place was pristine, clean, minimalist, warm and all the nice things! We checked in a day before my birthday and she even got us a cake. She goes over and beyond for her guests and is a friendly and warm presence. Did I already mention how perfectly clean the room was! You have to go there for yourself to truly experience this. A great location and very secure. A warm welcome from host and Max, the very very friendly dog. The cottage is well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We had a problem with the TV on check in, which was sorted right away. A really great little spot. We loved our stay!

This place was one of the best I have stayed in for a while. Very clean, modern furnishing, lots of amenities, very comfortable bed. I loved it and would use it again. The only thing I thought was missing is a curtain in the main door to have a little more of a privacy. Otherwise awesome!

We stayed at Bustani for 2 weeks while our place was getting renovated. What a pleasure to have stayed here and we will again should we require it. Lovely place and the hosts were amazing.

What fantastic, spacious and luxurious accommodation. The kitchen has everything you need to feel at home and prepare your own food. Richard and his family are welcoming and friendly, but you have complete privacy at the same time. I look forward to staying again.

Nicci’s place was home away from home with attention to detail to the smallest things. With the temperatures dropping due to season’s change a heater was available to warm up the room. Working space was handy too. Tranquil if you want peaceful surroundings. Fresh milk & tusks were a nice treat, including the tea and coffee station

The host was warm, responsive, and made check-in a breeze. The location was quiet, safe, and convenient, making it easy to explore the area. We especially loved relaxing in the space—it was peaceful, stylish, and had the most comfortable bed! Very private, safe and spacious unit within a beautiful estate. Loved my stay, and very close to a topnotch convenience centre and to the Waterfall City Precinct that is pristine and world class! Highly recommended and consider Blue Studio a home from home place. Penny is very responsive and helpful!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Lesley's place in Randburg. The accommodation was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, making it the perfect home away from home. Lesley was a fantastic host, welcoming us warmly and ensuring we had everything we needed. The location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

I stayed in the apartment for over 3 months and actually booked another 3 weeks later. Mantsikoe is a wonderful host. She usually answers messages in less than 10 minutes and is willing to go above and beyond to solve any situation that might come up. The house is set up to be unaffected by loadshedding and water shortages. She has batteries so that even if there's no power, there is wifi and an extension with power. There is also a water tank, so you never run out of water. Its location is ideal, with coffee shops, shops, pharmacies, and supermarkets within walking distance. The area is quiet, green, and safe. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Sally is the warmest and most welcoming host. Any time I needed something, she was easy to reach and quick to respond. I’ve felt so at home and cared for. And Sally makes the most delicious rusks. The unit is very spacious but cosy and homey. The area is super quiet and safe. I’ve absolutely loved my stay at Sally’s!

I had an excellent stay at Ms. Marry’s place during my trip to Johannesburg. The space was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. Sarah is a fantastic Airbnb host and I now consider her a friend. I cannot recommend her place enough. Sarah made my first solo visit to South Africa an absolute joy. She introduced me to Melville, gave great tour recommendations for the surrounding area, and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, safe, and happy during my stay. I stayed here for work at WITS, but would love to come back again for a vacation.
