We had a wonderful week at Maria’s place! The house was perfect – clean, thoughtfully furnished, and ideal for us and our two toddlers. Everything we needed was there, and we felt at home from the very beginning. The location was great, and communication with Maria was always friendly and easy. Thanks to this lovely accommodation, our family vacation turned into a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended – we’d love to come back!

This a lovely apartment in the middle of a busy and interesting town. Some reviews have mentioned problems with parking, which we have found in a number of Spanish towns and cities. We were lucky to find a parking spot on the street, otherwise it would be possible to unload and find a place elsewhere. Communication with Araceli was great, she responded quickly. The apartment is very comfortable and very well equipped, and our dog enjoyed watching the world go by from the little balcony. It was a great stop for us on our drive to Portugal, being not far from the motorway, but I'm sure there's lots to explore in the area.

Inaki was very helpful right from the beginning of our stay and could not have been easier to deal with. He looked up local taxi forms and bus routes to where we needed to go, gave food recommendations for around the local area. Replied very quickly and had an amazing home, it was even better than the photos. Inaki even left us a few basics like eggs and bread etc and some really nice lemon cake too! I couldn’t recommend him and his place enough Thankyou so much for all the help

Leigham was an excellent host. Very responsive to any and all questions and was able to provide numerous recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. “Number 8” is located in a small, walled, hilltop village with some buildings dating back to the 1100s. It is on a very quiet “street” steps away from the main square, cafes, restaurants and tapas bars. The apartment is on four floors allowing everybody to have their own space as needed. Three bedrooms with two washrooms … makes life easy, as we were a family of four. You drop your luggage 20 meters from your front door with free parking about 200 mètres away. Located in the heart of the Rioja a wine region, you are never far from some of the best wine in the world . In fact, you can walk to the nearest Bodega right in the village!!! If visiting the Rioja region, I recommend Leigham’s Number 8 as your home base.

If you are looking for tranquility it is the perfect place. The house was beautiful, as was its surroundings, and the host was very friendly at all times. I would definitely go back.

Unbeatable stay to spend a few days in Rioja Alavesa. Sofia and Joserra, who are behind Casa Garabitero, have gotten a beautiful, cozy, spotless place and in an unbeatable location. 100% recommended! Host is very friendly. We were well received on arrival. Josefa is very helmgul and likes to think along. He provided a list of the places of interest in the region and how long it takes to get there by car. Note: A car is a must. Listing is very authentic, open, spacious and very clean. Great location, easily accessible by car, and fully equipped. Good place to relax. Pobes is a good base to visit other nearby cities such as Bilbao and Vitoria Gasteiz. Cities as Valladolid, Pamplona and San Sebastián are easily accessible as well. Beautiful tranquil environment. Surrounded by nature and impressive height differences. Lots of natural parks nearby. We hope to get back someday!

The apartment's location is unbeatable in the center of Laguardia, which is a beautiful village. It's a third floor without an elevator, so keep that in mind. The apartment is spotless and the bathrooms are renovated. The beds and sofa bed are very comfortable. Zorione is a great host. I would totally recommend it.

The house is in a beautiful setting, a few minutes walk from the town of Otxandio, very well connected by road in any direction. The house is very well furnished, and it is very comfortable for a large group. The rooms were spacious and the garden was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very rural, a tiny number of houses including the owners, nearby. An orchard - yummy plums - and outside seating. Renovated old house full of character and historic details- nice and cool on a hot day. Really lovely scenery. V. Good local walks. 15 min drive to interesting historic Orduna for supermarket/cafes. 30 mins drive to central Vitoria-Gasteiz (a great small city- Basque, interesting, non touristy). Owners happy to advise eg on local hikes.

A great choice for a peaceful break in the heart of Rioja. Ana is fantastic - full of tips and a perfect host, who met us at the door for a short tour. The house has bags of character so great to get that from her! Our week at the house was perfect - it was warm, so eating outside, using the 'summer kitchen' just inside was simple. The view of Treviana from the house is beautiful and adds a great sense of location. Worth saying there's no shop or restaurant in the town - so trips will be car based, but Haro and Logrono are amazing, and there are lots of great small towns, supermarkets and bodegas for wine tasting a short drive away. The house is huge - and i think better than the pictures. Its old and full of character and some family possessions, but from the large dusty wine cellar to the huge entry door, its really impressive. Living areas like bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens were clean and in good condition.

Excellent stay in a bicentennial house. Located in the center of Rioja, you can visit the good cellars of the region, and go eat Tapas calle San Juan a Logroño, which is only 30 min away. Regarding the house, you have everything you need, as well as the possibility to have it if you stay longer than a week. In addition, Mario is a very good welcome and always has very good advice, you can contact him at any time if needed. The Patio is very pleasant, during the hot weather during your stay Recommended .
