Soludden Eckerö

Cozy little cottage with open floor plan, mini kitchen, gas stove, microwave and refrigerator. Two bar stools with the possibility to eat breakfast inside. A small sleeping alcove with a double bed and a separate sauna. There are two terraces, the one in the west has a dining table for 6 people with an incredible view of the open sea and the horizon. There is also an outdoor sink on the east side terrace as well as a gas grill. A dry toilet directly outside the sauna as well as a separate newly-built shower and laundry room as well as a frozen toilet a short distance away.

Beach with kayak

Stay close to the sea in a small and simple accommodation with its own sauna and beach. There is a kitchenette, outdoor toilet behind the outhouse, a bathroom with sink and shower. The bedroom has a bunk bed, sofa bed for two is in the room. Kayak is available as well as outdoor furniture and charcoal grill. (Coal and lighter fluid are not included) Electricity and municipal water. The sauna is wood-fired. The accommodation is located next to the hiking trail around Kungsö battery with the nice observation tower and cozy picnic spots. Mariehamn is close, about 10 km.

The accommodation is connected to the host couple's house at the end of the garage building (separate building). The balcony is shared but separated. The accommodation has full ceiling height and is cozily decorated with a large sofa bed and a loft with a 160 cm bed. The accommodation is best suited for 2 people but 4 people can stay. The stairs up to the loft can be difficult for older as well as younger people. The area is quiet.

Two-person kayak and SUP board are available to borrow for those who want to explore the lake from the water. The cottage is about 30 minutes from Mariehamn.

Sun from morning till night and nice views of the beach and sea. Private, generous and welcoming terraces extend around the cottage. You have free access to the beach and jetty with a bathing ladder. The cottage is located about 5 km from Mariehamn.
