Two miles from the Space Museum, 20 min from White Sands National Park, 15 min from Holloman Air Force Base and only a short 30 min drive to the beautiful village of Cloudcroft. This comfortable home offers a nice screened-in back porch with an amazing view of the surrounding mountains. Quiet neighborhood, 4-bedroom, 2 bath house, close to White Sands National Monument, clean, grass backyard, street/driveway parking. There are cameras on the outside of the property for safety and monitoring of all policies. I live in the camper that is parked on the side of the house so I’m available if you need anything.

Tammy was a great host. She answered my questions even before I reserved the weekend. The place was in easy walking distance to anyplace in town. On the drive home I have already recommended this place to a friend for a nice getaway.

This is a great location in the small town of Cloudcroft. Easily walkalbe to everything. Very nicely equipped space - good light, good appliances, comfortable bed, good natural ventilation, nice shared balcony. I would definitely stay here again.

Old Railroad Site near Hiking Trails, Amazing View

The highlight of this cabin is its location: it's in the middle of a pine forest, with great walking trails literally just yards from the front door. We spent three days hiking them, and enjoyed every minute. (Our dog Teddy loved all the forest walks too.) Also nice about this place is the rustic feel of it. The main part of the cabin has a vintage kind of vibe about it, which fits the history of the place and its links to the old Cloud-Climbing Trestle Railroad. The bedroom wings are much newer, with comfy beds and carpeting. The place is quiet, and the long front porch has a beautiful view of a mature pine forest.

Susan is a great host. She provided all the info needed for our stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. When we needed something (only one request as the cabin is well stocked!), she responded promptly to our request. We will be staying at J’s Cottage anytime we are in Cloudcroft.

The location provides easy access to the village shops and restaurants while also being private, quiet, and peaceful. The cabin itself was immaculately clean with modern appliances and comfortable furniture. I look forward to staying again.

We had a very unique wagon experience. Place is clean and cozy. It was more spacious than a luxurious RV. Tom and Darrel were very friendly. We arrived much later than expected and it was very dark when we arrived. Tom greeted us at the gate of the ranch and guided us all the way to the wagon. They have a small shop selling skin care products they produce. Will definitely recommend this place if you visit white sands np or carlesbad caverns np

We had a great stay at John’s place. The rooms were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfasts for our families. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio with coffee, it was a very peaceful space!

Could give this place 6 stars if they let me. Lovely older adobe home, well cared for, two gated yards for your dogs, well stocked kitchen, great mattresses. Cute back yard to sit in. Cute front porch to sit on. Loved our stay and we will be back!!!!

I stayed in William’s cabin for a week while exploring cloudcroft and the surrounds. It was perfectly comfortable and suitable for my needs. It’s about 0.5 miles from the downtown area of cloudcroft which made for a delightful walk whenever I’d go for food or coffee. The neighborhood the cabin is in is very tight and with winding roads but I managed to drive in and park just fine in a big F250. I highly recommend and would like to stay again if I return to Cloudcroft.

The perfect combination of comfort and mountain seclusion. Lots of comfortable sleeping and relaxing space. We loved the decor, modern amenities and abundance of blankets! We had nice family walks in the forest and scenic drives to nearby areas. Jeanene was very communicative. We’ve already booked to come back :-)
