Clean and modern room, comfortable bed, bathroom is separate from the bedroom, but it is for exlusive use of the guest, so felt fairly private. The kitchen is shared and the host allows using refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, but no cooking, which was totally enough for me. There is a very cute and sweet-natured dog in the house. It is very quiet at night. Overall an excellent base to explore the region from, if you have a car. The hosts are the kindest, warmest and most welcoming people I met during my long trip in Spain. They dont speak English, but thanks to their infinite patience trying to understand my basic Spanish supplemented with Google translate, i was able to communicate and get lots of useful tips on what to do in the area and where to eat. At various times during my stay they treated me to a glass of wine, homemade soup, told me about their life and local culture, so in the end it felt like I am staying with family, not airbnb hosts.

La Garimuca. Preciosa casa de montaña.

El lugar es una maravilla. El paisaje cambia continuamente, la tranquilidad y serenidad es permanente. El entorno es fantástico: El rio Miera bajando con mucha agua, los puertos de montaña cercanos impresionantes y el cocido montañés esperando para completar el día. La casa, es una cabaña pasiega bien arreglada y muy bonita, con leves inconvenientes y menaje muy justito; pero buena calefacción. Aunque Revilla diga que en Cantabria no llueve, nos llovió 12 de los 15 días que estuvimos, pero nosotros encantados. Un paisaje como ese hay que regarlo frecuentemente y se disfruta. Ángela encantadora y siempre dispuesta a atenderte. Ha sido una estancia excelente.

La cabañita es como de cuento, está rodeada de naturaleza y tiene unas vistas impresionantes. Está decorada con mucho gusto y tiene todo lo necesario para que te sientas como en casa. Encender la chimenea, mientras te relajas en el salón con esas vistas y lluvia de fondo como nos tocó a nosotros... una maravilla!! Están muy bien aprovechados todos los espacios, y despertarse con esas vistas es un lujo !! Creo que es uno de los alojamientos más bonitos y diferentes en los que he estado. Tenemos ganas de volver 😍

Can’t say enough about Raul’s place. In an absolute beautiful setting, peaceful, and a real connection with nature. Raul couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. Central location for sightseeing the historic town of Camillas, and strolling along the beach in Suances. Would highly recommend anybody that was considering staying at Raul‘s place.
