Vacation home for rent daily or weekly. Vacation accommodation in a renovated log house. The house is located on the same property as the landlord's residential building. The house is 74 sqm on two floors with a small hall, kitchen, bathroom and TV room on the lower floor. Open sleeping loft with two single beds 90x200 and small bedroom with two single beds 90x200. Steep stair to upper floor. Smoking or pets are not allowed. During the coldest season, we would prefer to have your request 48 hours before arrival so we have time to raise the temperature in the cabin.

Towels and bed linen are included. You will also have access to the laundry room located in the main building. We charge a cleaning fee of SEK 200 for bed linen, etc. However, we expect you to do a fine cleaning before you check out.

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Lägenheten ligger på övervåningen på ett privat garage. Ett stort luftigt rum med hall, kök och vardagsrum är det första du möts av. Bäddsoffa för två personer. The cottage is located on the outskirts of a village where the forest begins, a river flows next to the cottage. 4 km to the nearest store and 10 km into the city of Sandviken. Nice berries and mushroom places nearby. There is a small forest lake 30 minutes walk from the cabin.
