Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Agios Mattheos

We had a great time in Avgi’s apartment. The unit is very cosy, well equipped, and conveniently located close to the center of Pelekas. The highlight is the deck with a fantastic view towards the Agii Deka mountain. Pelekas is a quiet town with good infrastructure, a really nice bakery close to the apartment, a small supermarket, and a couple of good restaurants. In May, not many tourists were around. We came for hiking and explored all parts of Corfu. For this, Pelekas is a good base station with even the most Northern and Southern areas of Corfu not more than a one hour drive away. The hosts were very attentive throughout our stay. We highly recommend Avgi’s apartment!

We spent a few nights in the accommodation and would definitely come back. The house is very quiet and you can reach everything from there by car without any problems (beaches, shops, restaurants). The accommodation was clean and exactly as described. Spiros was also a super great host who was immediately available and always tried to make sure we feel comfortable and above all very welcomed. Thank you very much!

We really enjoyed our time in Corfu. The apartment was located only about 15 minutes away from corfu old town which was perfect. The accommodation itself was clean and modern with a swimming pool that was extremely well kept. The swimming pool is only shared with one other apartment so it’s mostly vacant which is great. Anastasia was kind and always so helpful. We would really recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful stay. The host is lovely and available. The accommodation is welcoming and comfortable. The view is beautiful and the village of Chlomos is very cute. We highly recommend this listing for a typical Corfu stay and in the peace of this village.

Our stay was really great! The place was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped, just like the pictures. The location was ideal, quiet but at the same time close to everything we needed. The host was impeccable – kind, friendly, and always available for any questions or help. She did everything to make us feel at home. Athanassia and her parents were incredibly friendly and made us feel like home. We were greeted with a wonderful dinner cooked by Athanassia’s dad and it was such a fantastic, friendly welcome! The place is wonderful. You can never get bored of the beautiful views from every room. It is perfect for 3-4 couples / small families. There was enough space for everyone and we never felt “stuck” with the same people. The pool is such a wonderful addition and a complete must have in hot summer months. We absolutely enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and did cook quite a lot. Swings is a nice addition for families with small kids - it was the main place to hang out. Also the garden is big and has many trees and plants and it was amazing to just roam around and for kids to look for bugs and flowers. They were never bored there and we stayed for 11 nights! Loads of tavernas in 5-10min drive distance. The roads near by are not really for walking so we suggest to use car for commuting. Thank you so much ❤

We spent 3 nights at the cottage and absolutely loved it. The garden and the views are amazing. We didn't see any people on the beach apart from a local fisherman so it did feel like having a private beach. The sea is shallow, warm and safe to swim. The garden is beautifully maintained with sun loungers, tables and chairs, a hammock and a BBQ. The cottage is comfortable, well equipped and nicely decorated. The nereast town, Lefkimmi, is a 10 min drive away and has 2 supermarkets. The town is small, with not many tourists and not much to do. We didn't mind for 3 days as we wanted a quiet place to catch up but bear in mind that you will need a car to drive to more lively places and some people might find the location too quiet. There is a nice day trip from Lefkimmi port to Paxos and Antipaxos. Konstantinos was a very responsive host.

This was a great find for us - great value. Can walk to Hyalus coffee shop; even nearby market. Good access to restaurants of Gouvia; beach at Kontokali; Dassia & Ypsos Beaches. We enjoyed the nearby Sweet & Savory coffee & eatery too. Blue bus #7 goes to Corfu Town. We LOVED Greek salad & omelet at Costas Taverna in Agios Ioannis. Ioannis Capodistrias Museum - (their George Washington). Spiros was SUPERHOST !!! House is tasteful and central to a meaningful Corfu experience. Views grand maybe especially orthodox chapel on tiny peninsula in the nearby bay.

Eleni was an incredible host who provided us with helpful information, excellent recommendations and plenty of flexibility throughout our entire trip. We stayed for three weeks in her beautiful villa and it could not have been more perfect, the amenities alongside Eleni’s wonderful hosting allowed us to experience an unforgettable stay and memories that will last a lifetime!

Great villa with a fantastic sea view! The villa was spacious, with plenty of room and enough bathrooms to accommodate six people. The large beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and other essentials provided. We really appreciated the thoughtful touch of having snacks, water, and wine ready for us upon arrival – thank you! The pool was clean, and having a speaker available added to the experience. Since we had a private chauffeur, we didn’t get the chance to explore Dassia, but the location worked well for us. It took around 30 minutes by car to reach Old Town. A small improvement: The sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable and unstable, so unfortunately one of us ended up sleeping on the floor. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful villa. Thank you for hosting us for the bachelorette trip!

It was a very beautiful place. Best if you have a car to see the whole island. The apartment is very clean and the mini market 5min by foot away. The beach is amazing, the water is crystal clear and the beach also.

Villa Fioraki was a gorgeous spot to spend a few days with friends. The pool and outdoor area is beautifully landscaped and caters for a large group well. The location is slightly remote so make sure you have considered transport options and consider the cost of taxis in your trip planning if not planning to hire a car. Amazing host, very responsive and helpful, would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a Corfu getaway!

We had a lovely stay at Villa Magnolia. We stayed with young children and it was the perfect spot. It was very private, peaceful, and we absolutely loved the pool. We hired a car so that it was super simple to get into the old town, down to the beach, or to the supermarket. Christos was a wonderful host - picking us up from the airport with rental cars, being at the airport for drop off, and just making everything as simple as possible. Would definitely recommend!

Me and my friends had such a great time here, the villa was just as described and everything we imagined. So spacious, and the views were incredible! Christos and his family were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Even though the villa was up a hill away from the town, Spiros, Christos' father, was so accommodating with giving us a lift to places we needed to get to and arranged our airport transfers too. They also provided us with an authentic Greek meal one evening, with such a small charge. I would definitely recommend as it was absolutely delicious, all homemade and also with delicious wine to accompany. Thankyou you for making our trip so special and enjoyable, and we hope to visit again. Our only complaint was that we had to come home :(

Nantina’s place was fantastically situated on the beach with its own garden. The house was spotless and Nantina was extremely proactive to all our queries and had a very good communication instructions to get to the house even though we only arrived at 12.30am nighttime. We stayed at the end of October so most beach restaurants were closed but we were happy to shop and eat in. The weather was a perfect 22 degrees and blue skies. We’ll be back!

Exceptional view and terrace, small pebble beach a few steps away, We stayed for two weeks. We were unlucky because there was road work. The apartment is well insulated, but outside you can hear the road (terrace and balcony). We had 2 great weeks, we didn't miss anything. George and his family are very nice and responsive.

We came to spend a week visiting the island of Corfu. that's why we chose this accommodation which was well located to shine in all directions. We were very well received, the accommodation was very clean and very functional. Our hosts were really perfect. We walked down to the village several times to go for lunch or dinner, we received a great welcome and it was delicious. We recommend this place if you want peace and quiet and experience the beauty of the island and the kindness of its people.

I am originally from Corfu but I've been living abroad for most of my life. I contemplated writing this review in Greek, but the reality is that Corfiots already know what a gem of a flat this is. So I am writing this in English to help anyone else who wants to visit. This is the most amazing AirBnB you will find in Corfu old town, period. If you've watched the Durrell tv series and wondered how it would feel to live in that era, but with modern amenities and comfort, look no further. Maria and Francesca's place is the most warm, authentic, well-kept, 200 year old apartment I have ever been to. St. Spiridon, Old and New Fortress, Liston square, Faliraki beach, Yacht Club, Kapodistrias' home, the Sunrise and Sunset are all there for you to enjoy from your countless windows or the one-of-a-kind Belvedere outpost, accessible by an interior staircase. Now, if you happen to spend Greek Easter here, you are in for a treat. You can see the fireworks, marching bands etc. right in front of you!

Aris and Dina's cottage was a magical getaway in nature. It's located up in the hills but only 7 minutes drive to the main road - amazing! The cottage looks exactly like the pictures - charming, cosy and pretty. This Airbnb experience stood out beyond all others because of the amount of love and thought poured into the space. You have everything you need and more! Communication was also easy and great. We were sad to leave and will be back!

The place was extra clean near the main road so you can reach the beautiful beaches at the north area of Corfu and dimitris was an excellent host

I can say enough positive things about Luka and Dear Prudence. The room was clean, bright and had so much character, it was very peaceful and enjoyable. Luka was a great host and worked with us through several flight changes. The location was perfect, on the outside edge of Old Town Corfu but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle and noise, while still being an easy walk to shopping, dining and sights. Luka gave great recommendations for restaurants. We will definitely return.
