Had a very relaxing stay in this lovely air b&b . It was perfect for us & our little dog with the garden . We loved this side of the island , we did many enjoyable walks. Thank you Barnie for all the helpful advice & making us feel welcome. Freshwater bay was a perfect bay for a nice September swim.

The Lookout: Cosy Compact Cottage

JoeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A lovely cosy little place that is in a quiet, peaceful location but equally well located for seeing West Isle of Wight. We didn't bring a car as the bus service is really reliable. The description and pictures are very accurate so be under no illusions that the place is best suited to 2 people. But equally, the bathroom in particular is a high standard for this kind of place and it has everything we needed.

Stunning sea views at a charming character cottage

DebraRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A lovely cottage, with all the amenities and comfy beds in a great location. We really enjoyed our 5 night stay and, in particular, the view of the sea, watching the boats sail by, the rabbits and pheasants on the lawn, the woodland walk/costal walks, quirky shops at the fort, being on Yarmouth's doorstep, lighting a real fire at night and sleeping peacfully after a day exploring the beautiful Isle of Wight. A big thank you to our hosts for arranging discounted ferry tickets and a lovely welcome pack. We may be back for more of the same!

The Old Farm Shop Cottage

LucyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at the Old Farm Shop. It was in a lovely location - you could explore lots of beaches and also walk from the doorstep in to the countryside and to the sea. It was clean and tidy and had all the things you would need for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was a great extra! Susie and Sarah were super responsive and helpful. We had a really lovely time, thank you.

Echoing other reviews, this is an absolutely stunning place. I totally fell in love with it - so unique, full of character, beautifully done up, and with everything needed for a stay. Such fun being lulled to sleep by the sounds of the sea. Thanks for a truly fab stay.

Marine Villa - stunning sea views.

Such a beautiful location and house. Perfect for families - we were a multi-gen group of 9 people and it never felt busy. The view of the ocean is stunning and the garden beautiful. The social spaces are wonderful to be in. Amazing property.

Quirky chalet near the beach with stunning views

TeresaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I fell in love with Boat house no.3 from the moment I arrived. Absolutely perfect little abode for my 5 night stay. Everything I dreamt of. Peace, birdsong (the dawn chorus is heaven), sunshine and sunsets, beach a couple of minutes away ~ which is mostly deserted. Walks either way along the beach are stunning (as well as the coastal path), but especially onto Compton Bay and up onto the Downs ~ Brook Down and Mottistone Down etc easily hiked to. Plenty of walks from the doorstep. But it really was hard to drag myself away from the tranquility of the boathouse in the mornings. The back decking and garden dropping down into the chine is such a haven for birds, so much activity. Lovely just sitting there with a cup of tea. This is definitely my 'go to' place now when I visit the beautiful IOW. 😍 An absolute gem. Wasn't difficult getting there by bus from Ryde. Nice scenery on the way, and the bus stops close by. Thank you Hilary for a lovely stay. I could happily live there forever.
