Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Adelaide

The house was incredible - exactly as described. 360 views of vineyards, a beautiful yard with fenced pool that was perfect for our young boys to run around and ride bikes, and very comfortable beds. We did a big cook up one night and the kitchen was well equipped. A large indoor dining table and outdoor dining table, and a large family area with big screen tv and lovely warming fireplace. Aircon throughout. On a cold May night it was very cozy! I would highly recommend this property, we were 7 adults and 2 kids and slept here very comfortably.

Beautiful home, extremely well set up for guests, lovely rural views with some cute alpacas and sheep just over the fence. My 13 year old daughter and I stayed for a week of horse riding instruction nearby and felt so happy to be staying here in this gorgeous spot! We loved the kitchen and laundry facilities, and huge plus for the amazing hamper of breakfast goodies on arrival, as we had not been to the shops yet and has a lovely breakfast of bacon & eggs on first morning. Beds and pillows nice and comfy, and great amount of space in all the bedrooms and living spaces. Convenient to Meadows town with bakery, pub and cafes, and not too far from a supermarket at Mt Barker. We had a very comfortable stay, and would love to come again!

Stayed at Little Forest Retreat while in Adelaide for business. Throughout the entire 4 weeks the property felt like a true home away from home. The kitchen is fully functional and stocked. The house felt quite spacious and large for one person with its high ceilings, natural light, elegant decor. I enjoyed opening the folding glass doors and screen to let the breeze in. There is intentionally good design for privacy between the house and the main property next door with the location of fencing and the walkway from the car park. The hosts were responsive right away with a shower issue and had no other needs throughout my 4 weeks. Would highly recommend to any solo traveler or couple!

Very nice accommodation with plenty of room for everyone. We stayed in a group of six people and everyone enjoyed their time at Gorgeous Grange. The large heater in the living area was superb, kept us nice and warm. Comfortable beds with all linen and towels supplied, lovely outdoor area with plenty of seating. We have been to more than 100 AirBnBs around the world. Among all of them, Cas and David and their house are truly outstanding and, after staying for 2 nights, we immediately put it on the pedestal of the very best. The place has an unbeatable location in Adelaide that is close to everything while it has all the privacy and quietude. The decor of the place enchanted us at first sight. The very spacious bedrooms are comfortable on a par with any plush hotels in the world, and the lounge, with a TV projector, is pleasing and we feel at home on the first step into it. The side yard is refreshing with sunlight. They are working very hard to ensure everything is more than alright for us. We are so grateful for their kindness and generosity. Thanks Cas and David, you have really made the day for us.

It doesn't get any better. The apartment is beautful and has everything a couple would want for an extended stay. It's a short walk to Maslin beach and very close to the vineyards of Maclaren Vale. Ann Marie was a delightful host with lots of suggestions on good restaurants and places to go. Loved it.

A perfectly located apartment to explore Hahndorf and surrounds. The accommodation was clean and well equipped, spacious and homely. Nelia was very helpful and responsive with any questions I had. I would heartily recommend this property if you’re planning to stay in Hahndorf. Quiet, well placed and still only a short drive to Adelaide (less than 30 mins).

Wonderful location, short walk down a beautiful street to bakeries, cafes and restaurants. Quiet location set back from the main road and comfy furnishings.

Excellent location near beach and shops. Great for 2 couples. Very cosy and comfortable. We liked the sun room which is north facing - the windows slide open to let in fresh air.

Suzi was a lovely host. There were lovely treats left for us and we felt very at home. We will be back next time we need a rest in a home away from home 🏡

Well appointed apartment with large rooms. The greatest asset was its proximity to the beach. It was lovely walking along the foreshore. Wendy was very accommodating for our family and made our stay in Adelaide memorable.

First time staying at this property, but like other properties of Lucy’s they are managed extremely well. We look at availability of Lucy’s before other AirBNBs. Stunning views, amazing location and dog friendly for the fur baby. Beautiful property which we would happily stay at again. Hosts are very responsive and thoughtful leaving basic groceries for our arrival.

The Retreat was everything as described and more. The bed and couch were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, the villa was elegant and modern and the surroundings were so serene. It was the perfect little hideaway in the Adelaide hills for our Easter long weekend escape. The heated pool was used a lot, the windy roads around The Retreat were magnificent to drive on and it was easy to get in and out of the villa. Bridget responded quickly when I had questions and I felt very at home during my stay. It was especially nice to have the fireplace going on our coldest night. Overall, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone who needs a restful holiday.

This house is amazing!! Beautiful views straight onto the ocean and lots of space in a great house. A short walk down the esplanade to the main part of Glenelg, a perfect location. Chris was a great host who was very accessible when required. Will definitely be back!!

What a wonderful weekend away. We watched the sunrise over the valley and enjoyed the serene surroundings. The villa was in immaculate condition and the hosts were very sweet. We will definitely be back. Thank you Briony and David, our little boy now wants to be a farmer!

The house was beautiful and in a relatively quiet area. Host was very quick to respond whenever we had a question and very quick and proactive to resolve a door handle that came loose. Will definitely consider staying again and recommending it to others.

We loved our stay at Susie’s place. One of the most beautiful places to stay if you want to unwind and relax in the hot tub. The house was clean and tidy. We were given a lovely bottle of wine and bread which was a delightful treat. Susie was very friendly and responded if we had any questions. She was also kind enough to send us some tips on photographing the Milky Way! I would definitely recommend this and return to Susie’s beautiful home. Thank you!

Gorgeous, private and very well-appointed home with quality decor and furnishings in a beautiful location. Well-kept gardens all around, with views from the front verandah (a special place to relax with a drink and watch the birds), and even views through the bathroom window across the valley. Lying down on the front lawn watching the sky, right next to the vines was quite special. Everything you need is here including continental breakfast provisions. The beds were also super comfortable. A large, covered garage provides protection for your car, and in cooler months, lots of wood for the combustion fire in the lounge is ready to use. The outdoor eating area was really appreciated, also with great views. A place you won't want to leave.
