Situated at the rear of our lovely Victorian home on a private driveway, secured with electric gates The Old Coach House comprises a first floor studio flat that we have renovated into a cosy little escape from the city centre. There is private, secure parking with an electric charging point (available at an additional charge). A bus stop is located outside with frequent services to and from the city centre.

Pear Tree Barn, York 5m, Village Location

Pear Tree Barn has been lovingly restored and converted as holiday accommodation during 2016. The old timbers have been retained but are not obtrusive, where the height of the interior allows the original A frame roof timbers add that necessary rustic charm to what is now a modern property. Due to the coronavirus, we are taking additional steps to clean and sanitise frequently touched surfaces between reservations.

We have shops, pubs and a playground in our little neighbourhood - The Railway Quarter - right next to the town centre, which is easily reached via a lovely walk by the river or a couple of minutes by bus/car.
