Monthly Rentals in Achill Island

Celia’s place is in the perfect location for exploring all Achill Island has to offer (which is a lot!). Her space was clean, cozy, and warm. She met us upon checking in and gave us lots of recommendations of places to check out in the area. There’s no wifi, but we had good cell service so had no problem using data for maps, researching, etc. The shower was one of the best I have had since being in Ireland, lots of nice hot water and good water pressure. Which you definitely appreciate after long days of walking and exploring. Great stay!

Achil has such beautiful areas to explore. The cottage was perfect and peaceful for this! We came from a warmer climate so having a fireplace was such a nice treat. And Edel's place was spotless. I really felt at home. The drive from Dooeaga to the sound was amazing and this is the perfect place to experience that beauty. I also found that the cottage had a great use of design/color in the bathroom and kitchen. We had all we needed. Also, I really liked the folder of recommendations and local companies and restaurants. Thank you Edel.

The place was so beautiful, and it made you feel right at home! We loved the fresh goodies left for us when we got there, and Catherine was an amazing host and was super responsive and helpful. The place was pretty private as well but was still easy to walk to get food or check out a local pub. The island was such an amazing place to explore with jaw-dropping cliffs & some of the most stunning beaches I’ve ever seen. I would definitely stay here again!
