ToyaHouse/8ppl/1min to lake/ Queen beds/

Aik HauRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Stayed for 6 people. Very close to Lake Toya and multiple eating options. Definitely more economical than staying in most of the hotels. Small downsides: 1 toilet and 1 bathroom (but there is a public toilet 3 min walk away) 1 aircon unit within the living room but none within the bedrooms (there are mobile heater units)
A spacious living area is highlighted by wooden beams and a stone fireplace. Areas for seating and relaxation are provided, alongside a low table and a plush rug. A large window allows natural light to fill the room, enhancing the connection to the outdoors.

Room with a free car, PLUR homestay in Makkari 04

DavidRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The host family was kind and welcoming. They showed genuine warmth and friendliness towards the guests. They are very responsive, flexible, and accommodating to our needs. On the first day when we arrived at Rusutsu village, we were quickly picked up from the bus stop by the host after contacting him. On the last day we were allowed to stay until around 2:30pm after having checked out the room. This is because the bus we booked was scheduled to depart at 3:30pm. The host stood ready on the day to drive us to the bus stop at the Westin Hotel. We are very happy with the service offered by the host. The experience exceeded our expectations.

Room with a free car, PLUR homestay in Makkari 01

It’s hard to put into words the wonderful experience of my stay at Noboru’s house. Noboru was very responsive to all messages and offered helpful advice on travel options from New Chitose to his house. He picked us up from the resort at Rusutsu and then handed us the keys to the car, which is offered as part of the stay. This, in my opinion, stands out from all the other hotels, as a car is a must to fully appreciate the surrounding beauty. My partner and I instantly felt at home in his charming and characteristic home, where we were welcomed by his lovely family and pets! Our room was clean and comfortable, with adequate space for up to 3 people. The toilet and bathroom were kept very clean throughout our stay. We were able to use the kitchen freely however, due to where the village is located, you will probably end up eating out more often. If you are up for an authentic and out of the ordinary experience, you must stay here. We will be back!!! Daniel and Petra :)

It was a nice and pleasant stay at Lake Toya. Satoshi was really helpful and gave clear instructions on how to find the place and check-in. The house is conveniently located, near to the Lake Toya main attractions and restaurants. At night, we could even have a glimpse of the Lake Toya fireworks without leaving the house. Overall, a peaceful stay, and the house provided everything we needed. Just a slightly inconvenience as there is only 1 bathroom and there were 8 of us. But other than that, the house was prepared clean and ready for our stay. Thank you Satoshi for hosting us at Toya-inn East.

Private cottage for nature experience【Lake View】

Such a lovely stay. You can tell a lot of love and pride went into creating this space. We enjoyed using the bikes, riding around Lake Toya. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. FYI--there were 3 adult bikes and 1 child-sized bike. Wish we had stayed a 2nd night.

2-minute walk to Lake Toya / Wellness experience

Yuki's place was cozy and all bedrooms were of reasonable sizes. It is located very close to Lake Toya and in a quiet area. Yuki was extremely responsive but we really need not communicate that much since all instructions were clear and precise.
