A great location and beautiful apartment. The best place we have stayed in Aberystwyth!

The apartment was really nicely presented and had everything you could need for a family stay. Lisa was great at communicating and the apartment guide was super helpful both for the property and the area. Being literally across the road from the beach was fantastic, sometimes we didn't even put our sandy shoes back on to get home! We chose this place because it suited our family of 3 (no stairs for our 1 year old) and after we'd moved all the ornaments out of reach it was perfect, although you could have happily had a much larger family there. Would stay here again!

From booking to leaving, I had great communication from Matt. Arrived at apartment and was so pleased that it matched all of the listing photos. The place was spotless with lovely airy feel. Rooms were well appointed to suit couples or families. The view from the balcony was so relaxing and even though it overlooks a main road it was very quiet. A perfect place for a sister’s trip. Pendine itself is great for walking, the beach was endless with plenty of drinking and eateries. We didn’t use the kitchen but it was very well equipped should we have wanted to have cooked. The parking can be very tight if a large car is in the next space. We were in a mini and struggled to get in, we did however park further down the road so it wasn’t an issue as we weren’t driving around anywhere. Personal recommendations were Springwell for roast dinner (booking advised). Kev’s Beachside cafe for stunning breakfasts and The Beach pub for local beer and views. Will definitely be returning.

What an absolutely gorgeous apartment and location with the sight and sound of the sea at your back door. A rare find indeed and one that we will happily return to.

We had a fantastic week at Sunny Bank. House was spotless and had everything we needed. Very close to lots of lovely restaurants and cafés, my boys especially loved the ice-cream parlor just down the road. Fantastic walk above the the house with amazing views over Barmouth.

I cannot overstate how amazing this place is. I was looking for an escape into the woods and it was exactly what I wanted. The setting of the cottage is stunning, right on the river and surrounded by trees. It feels remote, even though it's only a short walk into the village. The welcome was really friendly, you can tell that the owners are very active in their community and have put together loads of local info. I particularly liked the map of the community forrest which made me feel confident enough to explore walks by myself. The cottage itself is beautifully kept, with everything that you need, and then some. I didn't want to leave.

What a gem of a place!! It was one of the most tranquil and relaxing stays we've had through Airbnb. Both the location along the magnificent coastline as well as the carriage "Wendy" were absolutely superb and exactly what we were looking for. The interior is so cozy and magical and we enjoyed undisturbed sleep. Thank you Janet

I booked in a hurry and initially I hadn’t realised it was a housing estate, but location was good and it suited my requirements perfectly the neighbours were charming , the back yard looks right over the harbour with fabulous bird life and jumping fish easy stroll into town and a small bar close by called The view great to sit out and take it all in. Thank you.

Lynn was a most responsive host and did everything possible to make our stay work for us. The apartment is beautiful with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and a delightful balcony with ever changing gorgeous views across the estuary. All the amenities of Porthmadog town are walkable and you can watch and listen to the historic trains from the balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay - only wishing it could have been longer.

What a picture perfect place to spend a few days in this area. The house was super clean and the view across the estuary was a definite wow moment! The house has the best equipped kitchen and even some extra fridge space in the basement. The only downside for us was that there is only one shower, and when you have six adults going to a ‘do’ it was a bit of a military operation, but that aside, we had the most wonderful stay. Can't thank Katrina enough for opening up her little cottage for getaways. Everything was beautiful and spotless and check in and out so simple. The hottub was a well needed luxury after walking around the Welsh countryside. Cannot fault the cottage one bit and will be sure to return in the future!

It was a lovely place to stay. My dawg enjoyed people watching especially the ones walking their dawgs. Everything you needed plus a downstairs loo which I didn't know about.

Such a beautiful home from home, spotlessly clean and a perfect location, couldn't fault it. Janine provides so much, even a welcome pack with bread, butter, cheese and Welsh cakes which was such a nice touch. We would highly recommend this property.

This apartment exceeded my expectations - an ideal spot for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. I especially appreciated the quiet surroundings and the thoughtful, loving way the space is furnished. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need, making it feel like a true home away from home. The view of the sea from the window is absolutely stunning - you could spend hours just admiring it. A special thanks to Ali for her warm and responsive communication. Everything about the stay felt easy and relaxed, and her local recommendations were a fantastic bonus. I would happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway!

Joanne is the most wonderful host and the apartment was everything you could wish for and more. Not only beautiful inside, but its positioning overlooking the sea was glorious and Joanne has made sure you can make the most of that view with seating in both bay windows. Staying here for a couple of days was magical. Two nights running we were able to sit in the living room watching the sun go down over the sea - so beautiful. Being able to step out of the front door and right onto the beach was great. The apartment is perfect for a stay in Aberystwyth, which is a peaceful town in stunning surroundings.

we had a lovely 3 day stay at Heidi's place, the apartment was beautiful with the most gorgeous view, it had everything that we needed and was spotless ! barmouth town centre is less than a 5 minute walk away from the apartment which was fabulous and Heidi gave us plenty of recommendations of places to go and places to eat. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.

Great place. Accessible - which was important for us, and something that stands out in the glowing reviews. Straight onto the dunes and wonderful beach and a quick walk into town. Great hosts and would definitely recommend, for a a lovely base to explore Barmouth and the the stunning surroundings

Great place to stay in Saundersfoot, amazing beach views. Nothing like dropping off to the sound of lapping waves!
