Cuddfan - Characterful Quarryman's Cottage

TeleriRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely (train themed!) stay with our toddler, and the house and garden was perfect for what we needed. The village was also great- playground, easy walks from the house to both the steam train stations, the Nant Gwernol woodlands and also up to Castell y Bere, and a pub too! Diolch yn fawr am y croeso
A panoramic view captures the coastal town nestled at the water's edge. Sandy beaches extend to the shoreline, while a series of buildings can be seen, accompanied by boats in the water. Hills rise in the background, creating a scenic landscape against a clear sky.

Welcome to Robert’s Cottage.

LouiseRating, 5 stars23 months ago
We took a step back in time in this traditional slate miners cottage furnished with a nod to the past, but with lovely modern cooker and excellent wi-fi connectivity. In case of bad weather take books if you want, but if not you’ll be sure to find something of interest on the bookshelves. Otherwise there are so many walks varying in type, length and fitness required, hill walks, woodland walks, castle walks, picturesque chapels, coastal/beach and walks from river,/lakeside to estuary you will be out from breakfast to dusk, and then you can look out for bats through the windows. So peaceful and so many birds to spot or try to identify by their song, even a regular heron fishing under the bridge at the end of the road. We look forward to scheduling another visit in the autumn, by which time the pub at the end of the street will hopefully have reopened.

Caban Diffwys - Snowdonia Log Cabins - Arthog

Lovely location, surrounded by trees. Walks from the door both out to quieter rural setting and across the Bridge into Barmouth. The cabin was comfortable and well equipped. Bethan couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful, with loads of suggestions of things to do and places to go. You felt she was really concerned that you have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

Sea View Sunsets - Dog Friendly Cottage

PhilipRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We can only agree with all the other reviews! Perfectly situated on the coast path, peaceful and a great view from the back garden. John provided a folder of local walks, we also visited Cregennen lakes, Barmouth and Dinas Oleu both highly recommended. On rainy days; Harlech on the train from Morfa Mawddach and Portmeirion. Great cycling, running and walking along the Mawddach trail. Our highlight may well have been visiting the Dyfi ospreys.

Stunning Lodge located in rural Wales

Kimberley MayRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What an amazing place. We’ve just returned after a week’s stay and we’re already looking to book again for next year. So much to do in the grounds for all ages. The pool and hot tub were a big hit with the kids. WiFi isn’t great if you want to watch a film on Netflix but this just meant we played more games as a family (will take a couple of DVDS next time). Games room and Mini Golf were great too. All in all 10/10. Can’t wait to go back.

Contemporary village cottage

JoRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The cottage was lovely, so big too, lots of room to move around. The mud room was a god send after returning from wet muddy dog walks. plenty of space to hang up wet outdoor gear and dry the dog. The village is so pretty and plenty of walks straight from the cottage no need for the car. Beaches and waterfalls under 30 mins drive from Corris. Just a 10 min walk away is the Corris Craft Centre. We had a great comfortable stay, didn't want to come home!

We had an unforgettable stay at Gareth’s. The house is beautifully done with stunning views, comfy beds, and is extremely well equipped. A great location with lovely walks around and not far from the big hikes. Amazing birdsong and even a shooting star! Gareth is very helpful and responsive. We didn’t want to leave!
