Vacation rentals with a patio in Abergavenny

Our short stay at Jon & Laura's was perfect. We loved the patio with comfortable garden furniture, for tea outside on arrival and for a leisurely breakfast. The pristine bathroom was a joy to use. Jon's information on the local area was well-received... we enjoyed our evening 50 minute walk to a pub for food & drink and our morning visit to The Gloucester Quays. (We also won our Tennis match!)

Had an incredible stay in Henry’s place! Great location as it’s quiet but still near everything! Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Henry was also so lovely and friendly to interact with! Would 100% recommend, and if I’m ever in bath again would definitely stay again! ☺️

We stayed just a night and Tom’s place was perfect for us. Generous check-in and check-out times really make a difference for one-nighters, and both were very smooth and easy. I love this area of the city, it is quiet and residential but just minutes’ walk from cafes, shops (including one of Bristol’s best health food shops) and public transport into town. Tom had left some useful suggestions for places to eat and drink, and thus we went to a really good, local tapas bar for our supper which we might not otherwise have found. The flat was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need for a short stay, including a very comfy bed! Tom was very helpful and prompt to reply to my questions, specifically about parking. We would definitely stay again if we need a bed in Bristol.

Margaret was a fabulous host with lots of communication about location & directions & entry to property. Nice to have a parking place as well & very easy to walk into town. Had a lovely breakfast roll in Alice Park which is only a 5 minute walk away from property & very reasonable priced menu. Would definitely stay again x

A lovely little get away, tucked away on a remote location. Waking up to cattle and sheep right outside was beautiful Hosts are welcoming and very friendly. Cannot wait to return

Perfect location for those exploring Barry Island. Host were friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Communication was fantastic. Room was exactly what we needed. Clean and tidy. Bed and bedding was comfortable. Garden was lovely for a coffee if a morning. We especially liked the free and included doggy cuddles. ❤️ The only downside was having to leave. `Great place to stay for exploring the surrounding countryside. The property was warm (it was a cold few days!) cosy and the owners were welcoming!

The photos do not do the Drydock Cottage justice - it is even more beautiful than it looks in the photos and also a lot more spacious. The attention to detail and every element of the design that has gone into the conversion of this building is second to none. The location is also absolutely perfect - so peaceful, tucked away in gorgeous grounds with a view straight out onto the canal and across over the valley to the mountains beyond. I could have sat and watched the world go by, including the families of ducks, all day. The home made goodies were very welcoming and I loved every minute of my stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place for people looking to escape to somewhere unique and peaceful.

It was a lovely place to stay. My dawg enjoyed people watching especially the ones walking their dawgs. Everything you needed plus a downstairs loo which I didn't know about.

This property is just fantastic. I can honestly say the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Location was tranquil and peaceful. House is spotless, every room was extremely clean. Great powerful shower. The property is a good size. We were only 3 people and was very spacious for us. Has its own private parking. Kitchen was lovely, and a great little garden, with beautiful views. We felt relaxed and chilled here. There is not a lot in the little village, there is a pub, but we knew that when booking and that's what sold it for us. We don't like busy towns, we wanted quiet. It is a great base to get about though. Not far from Hereford, and right on the Welsh border. Just down the road is Arthur's Stone which was really interesting to visit. We drove into Hay-on-Wye one evening, its about 15 mins down the road, lots of restaurants and fish shop. The Brecon Beacons were only an hour away. We also visited Puzzlewood, which is in the Forest of Dean, about an hour in the other direction.

We loved this cottage. It is in a delightful location at the end of a lane, with a very attractive garden. Everything inside had been thoughtfully put together to make guests feel welcome and comfortable, and Sharon was helpful and responsive. The kitchen was very well equipped. We did some beautiful hiking nearby, and all agreed that we would like to return to the area and the house.

Nicole was such a fabulous host, it’s clear she has set out to ensure everyone has a fantastic stay. Communication was quick and had recommendations for food locally. I loved the little luxury details - beautiful fluffy towels, gorgeous cookies, a good fan, shampoos, conditioner, dog treats and towels etc. A very lovely stay, walking distance to the town where we met very friendly locals. Would definitely stay again 🥰

I loved my stay here. Chris & Mark were fab - friendly, helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had about the local area etc. the place was spotless, super comfy and with lots of light and beautiful flowers around the garden and fluffy towels. Everything looked brand new and it had everything I needed. Thanks again 😊

We stayed at Lyndon’s beautiful cottage for the weekend, which had fantastic access to the ICC Wales, where myself and my friend were competing (ATHX). The perfect spot to relax - we loved the bbq and the added little touches! Thank you!

Jet’s place was perfect for our short break in the Forest of Dean. The location was excellent, the cottage was comfortable and welcoming. There was information about places to go and plenty of places to eat within easy walking distance. It was only a short drive to so many places of interest and lovely walks. We had a fabulous four days. Highly recommend.

The communication from booking to leaving was fantastic. The flat is spotlessly clean. A lot of thought has been put into it too make guest extremely comfortable. It was great sitting on the large veranda area in the evening as the sun went down. By far this is the best Airbnb I have stayed in. We will be booking again and again. The apartment was clean, warm and comfy with all you need for a relaxing break. We felt at home straight away and the peaceful location and comfy bed meant that we had a great nights sleep. The view from the terrace was amazing with lovely evening sun and beautiful sunsets. Justine contacted us before arriving and during our stay, was really friendly and very understanding of our barking dog! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property and we hope to return in the future. Thank you Justine and hubby.

We stayed at Norman's for two months while we renovated a house. Perfect location close to the city - Gloucester Rd, Whiteladies, city centre etc. Really lovely flat with private walled garden covered in rambling roses in beautiful Georgian Kingsdown. Flat very clean and comfortable and well equipped kitchen. Norman super helpful and friendly. We loved our stay here.

A great place to stay so quiet it is a good walk into town but a bit of a hill on the way back,but all in all host very attentive definitely would stay again

Amazing spot on the outskirts on the city - yet in the most peaceful grounds in their own slice of the countryside. What a little gem to have stayed in. Pam and her husband Paul are absolutely lovely hosts who could not have make me feel more welcome. 🙏🏼

We enjoyed our two nights relaxing on the roomy, comfortable living room furniture. It was very quiet even though it is located right downtown, close to everything.

A beautiful place, amazing advice and help before arrival. Gorgeous flapjack treats on arrival, such a lovely touch. The place was clean and spacious, with everything you could need. Sarah was very friendly and contactable by message. A very large hill walk to the property from town, but taxis and buses are available.
