With its own garden, this former shepherd's cottage is surrounded by rugged hills and an unspoilt rural landscape at the very end of a single-track road.

Magic Mountain Cottage: family- & dog-friendly
There is nowhere quite as magical as this: an historic, creaky cottage, at the end of a farmers track below Cader Idris. It's a back-in-time experience, with wooden beams and antique furniture, owned by the same family for over 60 years. Please read all the details carefully before you book. It’s a 300 year old cottage on the side of a mountain, space, fresh air and tranquillity. It's comfortable but nothing fancy. No TV or wifi, but a woodburner, books and massive views behind the cottage.

Dolfan Barn Studio is so named because an artist once worked here, prior to that it was a cow byre. Just under a mile out of the village of Beulah the Studio is a perfect place to unwind. You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food. Aberdovey is a thriving seaside fishing village with brightly painted houses which seem to cling to the shoreline, and has a history dating back hundreds of years.

A fabulous spot to explore the many treasures of the peninsula.
