Centrally Located in Eext Eext is a charming traditional Drenthe village with a rich history, authentic farmhouses, and a beautiful natural setting. The Wheelwright’s Workshop – Rural Accommodation A covered area at the entrance of the historic Wheelwright’s Workshop provides a safe and dry place to park bicycles and motorcycles. First Floor A staircase leads to a cosy and stylish bedroom featuring a luxurious queen-size box spring bed. Plenty of fresh towels and two bathrobes are provided, perfect for relaxing after enjoying the hot tub. Ground Floor The hot tub is located directly outside the French doors in the spacious private garden. Here you can relax on the garden furniture, either in the sunshine or in the shade beneath the tree. A fire pit is available upon request and by prior arrangement. The garden room features a comfortable two-seater sofa, two inviting lounge chairs, and a cosy wood-burning stove, making it a wonderful place to unwind, even on cooler days. Adjacent to this is a bar area equipped with a two-burner electric hob, two refrigerators, a Nespresso coffee machine, a kettle, crockery, cutlery, a cooking pot, a frying pan, and glassware. A generous breakfast is available for €11.50 per person, and a selection of drinks can also be purchased. A personal refreshment card will be provided during your stay. The private bathroom is equipped with a toilet, urinal, and a spacious walk-in shower, complete with a selection of Janzen toiletries. A large television is available in the bar area, where breakfast can also be enjoyed. It is also an ideal space to work, read a book, or spend time together playing board or card games. During your stay, you can also book a relaxing massage. Treatments take place in a professional and peaceful massage room located in the front section of our farmhouse. You can choose between a 25-minute or a 45-minute relaxation massage. Surroundings Step outside the historic Wheelwright’s Workshop and find yourself surrounded by nature. The area is known for its forests, heathlands, sandy trails, ancient dolmens, and characteristic Drenthe farmhouses. Walkers and cyclists can explore the stunning landscapes of Drentsche Aa National Park and the UNESCO Global Geopark De Hondsrug. Motorcyclists and cyclists can enjoy the historic TT Route, a scenic 65-kilometre route that showcases the rich heritage of Dutch motorcycle racing. The Gasselterveld, with its crystal-clear blue water and white sandy beaches, is the perfect place for swimming, walking and relaxing. Also nearby are the beautiful Pinetum between Eext and Anloo, the lively cafés and terraces of Zuidlaren, and the Hortus Botanicus in Haren. On a beautiful natural site with a wild garden and pond, surrounded by wooded banks, you will find group accommodation De Stille Kracht. In this beautiful environment, it is a place that gives full peace and quiet. The barn has a simple kitchen, dining area and sitting area with wood-burning stove, 2 showers and 2 toilets. In addition, there is a large free space of +/- 60m2. In the Kleine Schuur, you will find 4 bedrooms, 1 shower and 1 toilet. (On the 1st floor of De Schuur is also a sleeping loft.)

This beautiful vacation home is located on the Hondsrug at the edge of the state forests and is located in a small-scale bungalow park. The house is surrounded by a spacious garden with sun all day, but also plenty of shady spots. Within walking distance in the forest is the beautiful swimming lake 't Nije Hemelriek. There are several MTB routes, a golf course and various hiking and biking routes. The house has 2 spacious bedrooms, a comfortable living room, kitchen, utility room and spacious garden.

This vacation home has recently been completely renovated and thus equipped with every comfort. The house has a lovely spacious garden with lots of privacy and parking space. Inside, you can enjoy a warm bath or light the wood stove comfortably. The forest and two natural swimming lakes are less than 10 minutes' walk away, where you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking and swimming. Since the cottage is on a cozy campsite (De Lente van Drenthe), there are many amenities just around the corner.

To relax, there is a 3-person massage Jacuzzi under the veranda. The deposit for our house is €250. The area is ideal for peace seekers, hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. In our beautiful fenced private garden, you will enjoy the many bird species.

Furthermore, there is a wood stove to heat the cottage and there is a boiler for the hot water. Everything is provided, from bedding to tea towel, from frying pan to hand blender. You can take beautiful walks from the cottage, e.g. the eight of Amen or to the Balloërveld near Rolde.
