In the cottage, you live a basic life, close to nature in a beautiful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly planted food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

This vacation home has recently been completely renovated and is therefore equipped with every comfort. The house has a lovely spacious garden with lots of privacy and parking space. The forest and two natural swimming lakes are less than 10 minutes' walk away, where you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking and swimming. Since the cottage is on a cozy campsite (De Lente van Drenthe), there are many amenities just around the corner.

Next to our 1904 house on the outskirts of Gasselte is the fully furnished guest house that is entirely at your disposal. You can enjoy the tranquility of Drenthe in various nature reserves, but you are also close to the tourist villages of Borger and Gieten, with restaurants and shops, and activities such as golf and swimming. The price includes bed linen, made beds, towels, kitchen linen and final cleaning!! (no breakfast!)
