We offer our small, fine vacation home in the Eifel for guests (also with dogs). The renovated bungalow nestles on the southern slope of the Rur Valley and overlooks the small village of Untermaubach and its castle. In the immediate vicinity are wonderful hiking trails through former vineyards, the Celtic Hochkoppel and the typical Buntsandsteinfelsen [colorful sandstone rocks] along the Rur. Rurtal & the Eifel National Park are particularly attractive for hikers, mountain bikers/e-bikers and nature lovers.

Cologne, Bonn and Phantasialand are each only 45/20 minutes away, quickly reached via the A1. Our apartment offers 2 bedrooms for 2 adults each. The individual guest house is located at the end of the 6-hectare property. A former stable is now a refuge for 4 people, redesigned with great care and attention to detail. On the ground floor is the kitchen with dining area and fireplace, one bedroom and a large bathroom with a freestanding bathtub. The 1st floor consists of a loft-like studio with a large window front, in which there is another double bed. There is also another fireplace, a grand piano and a large corner couch.

By car, you can reach the Nürburgring, the Ahr, the Ruhrsee or Phantasialand Brühl in a good half hour. Shopping 10 km away. Dogs are welcome by arrangement.

The red house is located in the idyllic Veytal between Mechernich and Satzvey, directly on the eponymous Veybach. This allows you to enjoy the special location in the middle of the nature of the old forest worker's house, while being only 900 m from the town of Mechernich. The house is located directly on a bike path and thus offers a good starting point for bike tours in the region.
