Hi everyone! We are your hosts Ili and Tobi, and have created a place that can be your base-camp when you’re in Fortuna. For a nice refresher, we wrote this ourselves! No Ai, just us, this is as close as a human to human interaction when reading something from a screen. Who would trust an Airbnb with few reviews when visiting a new country?? We also travel and believe us, we don’t want to screw up - quite the opposite: we tried to design a place that we would really like to visit and enjoy.

The Moon Studio is a treetop property located in Monteverde. The octagonal studio is surrounded by forest and has one of the most impressive views of the Gulf of Nicoya. It sits on a solid structure 6 meters from the ground. It features a roof deck, work space, AC, king bed, full kitchen, TV, living room, bathroom with bathtub. Once you arrive at the property, you will cross a metal hanging bridge that connects to the treetop. We have designed every detail to make you feel in the clouds.

The house is nestled on a private farm next to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. It is located on top of the mountain with spectacular views of the Gulf of Nicoya and the best place to watch sunsets when the weather allows. It is a one bedroom non luxury house that was built by one of the first Quaker settlers in the Monteverde area. It is fully equipped with a kitchen, washing machine and dryer for the best comfort. We are in the cloud forest, be ready for weather changes and bugs.
