We are totally grateful to Jenny and her family, they are excellent hosts and very caring and warm people... The house is very cozy and has absolutely everything you need for a quiet and pleasant stay, the view of the place is incredible and the location of the house is close to all the tourist places you want to visit in Barichara... we would love to return as soon as possible and for those interested, Jenny's family has an ice cream shop in the village of Barichara, highly recommended, delicious ice cream and very caring service. without further ado, highly recommended.

This house was exactly as it looked in the pictures. Absolutely perfect for large groups. Lots of hot water. So amazing that they had people to come make and serve breakfast in the morning.

The house is very nice, just like the photos. The location of the house is very far from the center of the village and the road to access it is in very poor condition. The house has many mosquitoes.

We loved the hotel as it is very close to san gil but you have the tranquility of the rural area. the wet area is perfect, the rooms impeccable and the leisure spaces are comfortable. it has a large parking lot and the hotel staff is very friendly. we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful experience at this place. The lady who welcomed us was very friendly and made us feel right at home. Everything was perfectly organized and clean. But what really surprised us was the delicious food the lady prepared for us. It was a real pleasure for the palate. The location is perfect, close to everything we needed. And communication with our hosts was excellent. In short, it was an amazing experience and we recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and conveniently located place. A very nice place if you're traveling with family or friends It's a bit far from the main park, but if you go by car it's no problem (it takes you 5 minutes to get there)

Quiet place, comfortable and clean facilities.

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay! Everyone was incredibly friendly, we could check in a few hours earlier and could leave our stuff in our room a couple of hours after check-out. The local is also really nice, approx 5 min from the Main square.

This place was amazing. Location is perfect. Close to everything but in a peaceful location. Olga is incredible and was very patient with her communication as I speak no Spanish. Every morning she would make us a fantastic authentic Colombian breakfast that would start the day right. We came for a wedding and with all the rooms and space, it was the PERFECT place for groomsmen to prepare for a wedding. Jorge was great to communicate with as we were very late arriving and also worked to get me a ride back to airport. Loved it. I will say if you are used to sleeping in very cold conditions, this may be a challenge for you to get used to. That seems to be a common thing in Barichara though.

The house of poetry is very cozy, a quiet and safe area. The house is equipped with everything you need to be comfortable during your stay. I think it's a good place to get some rest if you're going to do activities in Zapatoca. The street where the house is located is regular and the parking area inside the place is for a very small vehicle, we had to leave the car in front of the house. Overall a really nice stay.

The place is super beautiful! Don't hesitate to visit it, in fact it looks much better in person, we loved that it has everything, board games, karaoke, good kitchen utensils and toilet and Laura was super cool by leaving us a complimentary wine! We had a great time! We would definitely go back.

We had a super nice long weekend in Barichara. The house is very quiet, surrounded by flowers and birds and has everything you might need. Jefferson and his wife Alejandra were super nice and always attentive, they gave us many recommendations and made us feel very comfortable. I recommend this place 100%. Thank you very much!

We spent New Year's Eve at Casa Berlu in Barichara, accompanied by family and friends, and the experience was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were delighted with the magnificent architecture and design of the house, which combines comfort, spaciousness and tranquility in one place. A place with large spaces, the rooms are very comfortable, with beds that guarantee a good rest, and impeccable cleanliness in every corner. The common spaces are ideal, from the living room to the dining room, through the outdoor corners that invite you to relax. A great point to note are the two parking spaces, which is very practical, especially if you're traveling in a group. In addition, it has an area designed for barbecues, which was perfect for enjoying outdoor meals in an unbeatable atmosphere. A Wonderful place.

We were warmly welcomed at Tocagua, a very pretty house located on the most famous street in Barichara. Because of that, there are often tourists around the house taking photos throughout the day. Our stay was overall very good, though there was a social wasp nest in the bathroom—we hope that gets addressed soon. A charming place in a great location surrounded by great restaurants and places where to eat.
