Kasbah Des Caids, Tamnougalt

Ana PaulaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Kasbah is truly wonderful, a historical monument, impressive and immense! The place is like a movie... we were definitely surprised. Upon entering, you have to walk through dark corridors (lit by artificial light) and after several twists and turns you enter a palace, yes, an adobe palace with a beautiful traditional decoration. Everything is very well preserved, respecting the essence of history. The rooms are very spacious and have a private bathroom. They greeted us with tea on their beautiful terrace. We ordered breakfast and dinner. It was excellent and economical. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and Hassan welcomed us very kindly. We walk through the historic village and the gardens of the Draa River. Photos of the majesty of the place were taken. Without hesitation, it is much more than we imagined and it was one of the best experiences of our trip to Morocco.
The image displays rolling sand dunes under a fading sunset, with soft hues of orange and purple illuminating the horizon. Gentle ripples across the dunes create a textured surface, while sparse tufts of grass are visible, adding a touch of greenery to the warm desert landscape.

One Night in the Desert of Zagora on BB

Very nice tent stay in the desert near Zagora. The tents are 15 minutes away from Zagora and the trip can be made by car or by camel. The dinner served was a delicious tajine and a breakfast was served in the morning. The camel ride is a great addition as well.

Try the bereber way of life within the Draa valley

EmmaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay here, it was a highlight of our trip. Najat and her family were extremely welcoming and we managed to communicate with my limited French and Google translate! The children were also friendly and we had a lot of fun. A highlight was being taken to the local Hammam and going to the nearby cascades!!The dinner was also delicious. As mentioned it can be a bit hard to find but instructions are provided. Would definitely recommend staying here!
A traditional clay dish is filled with eggs and small meatballs, garnished with herbs and tomatoes. Two spoons rest nearby on a wooden table, with a glass and a plate of black grapes visible alongside.

DAR BANI GUEST HOUSE

OtmaneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
For those who like the authenticity of Morocco, you won't be disappointed! The place is great, conducive to rest or various activities and walks, easily accessible in the area. The accommodation is spacious, clean and tastefully decorated with respect for local craftsmanship, which gives it a crazy charm. I'll finish with our Host Khaled who is a very friendly young man who knows how to share the love of his region with you. His welcome and generosity only reinforce my deep-seated belief that Moroccans have a heart of gold and that their education and values are not learned in books but through the eyes and during sincere and simple exchanges. As you can see, I highly recommend this place that I hope to visit again and again in the near future. Thank you Khaled!!!
A decorative window features intricately carved wooden frames and ornate metalwork. The windows are open, allowing natural light to illuminate the space while offering a view of lush greenery outside. Blue accents complement the craftsmanship, creating a serene connection to the outdoors.

RIAD FENNEC SAHARA

NicolòRating, 5 stars26 months ago
We had a very good time at the fennec riad. Abdellah is an exceptional host and he always made sure that we were enjoying the staying. He gave us plenty of advices about the neighbourhood. His English level is definitely above marocco average, and this made communication extremely easy. My girlfriend is vegan and he always made sure there was something for her for breakfast and dinner. As we wanted to see the dunes he arranged a day trip for us at a reasonable price ( but it is also possible to stay overnight in the desert). very much recommended.
