It is an old building, lovingly restored and equipped with everything you need to enjoy a very pleasant stay, while retaining the essence of traditional architecture. Located in one of the most beautiful towns of Parque Natural Arribes del Douro. It has a private garden with local plants, a pool shared with three other accommodations, and the space where we have our endangered cattle animals: donkeys and chickens.

Maria’s house is beautiful - a family home with all the comforts of home. Maria has provided everything you need, which you do not always get, like handwash in all the bathrooms and everything you could want to cook with in the kitchen. There are so many different tables to eat at - a great place to cook & enjoy the house. The plunge pool was full for our arrival & our kids loved cooling off in it. There is not much to do close by, but this is what we expected - it was a stop over for us on a big trip heading from Baiona to the south. There is only a bakery in Moralina. Miranda do Douro in Portugal is 20 minutes away & is beautiful. We do not speak Spanish but Maria was very patient with us, even when we got a little confused with directions. Maria met us to check in & check out. Thank you for having us Maria!

the place has everything you could need and even more. The owners have been very kind, the house was spotless, both in cleaning and in decoration, the fully equipped garden, play area, chillout, barbecue and even an underground winery. One of the best homes in the we've been, absolutely recommended. We look forward to coming back.

We were very comfortable. A very well appointed house, especially the kitchen, and also no small things for children like books, board games or scooters. Decorated in great detail. Also comfortable the outdoor table with the barbecue and the children's annex. We recommend it 100%. The village is small but has no amenities, especially to highlight the sports pavilion with its pool (heated in winter and open in summer, accessible for wheelchairs even inside the water).

We had a great stay!! The house is new and very clean. Convenient for larger groups, and the indoor pool is a real plus! The hosts are awesome, very welcoming, and make themselves available to help. La Zarza de Pumareda is a very cute village with activities nearby. We had the chance to participate in the Easter holidays in the village (dj evening and karaoke night). Thanks for the weekend. We recommend this place, you can go there without a second thought!

The house is very nice with lots of details and very clean. Communication with Nieves and his mother was excellent. If necessary, we'll come back for sure. Everything was phenomenal. Thank you for everything.

EXTRAORDINARY HOUSE that I rate with five stars, BECAUSE THERE ARE NO MORE☺️. The owners are charming, very nice. The house...well that's fantastic. Cozy, spacious, with bathroom in each room, kitchen/dining area to be in group, and very nice outside. The crown jewel, AS your hosts say, the POOL. An experience to live and repeat.
