The modern cabin from 2022 is located in the beach zone at Herlandsneset at the end of Atløy in Askvoll Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane. The plot is sunny with panoramic sea views that can be enjoyed from the cabin's hot tub. There is a fabulous view from the cabin towards the island of Kinn in the northwest, a special brand and knowledge known as a sailing brand along the coast. To the south is the well-known viewpoint Brurastakken and the popular hiking island Alden also called Norske Hesten. With the cabin's motorboat you can go there and to Værlandet and Bulandet.

Take the trip to Dingja and stay in a lake house from the 1800s. Dingja is a small village at the outlet of Sognefjorden. The lake arch is cozy and functional, and is located in the marina with terrace beyond the sea. Here there are fishing opportunities in the sea, fresh water and river Lots of nice hiking trails in mountains to each other and lookout points. Hike to ancient settlements and cemetery from Viking teams at historical Dingeneset. Nearest neighbor is Dingja storkiosk. From the sea room there is a 3 min walk to child-friendly sandy beach.

Magnificent view over the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. During the winter months you can experience the Northern Lights, or beautiful starry sky . The ferry goes over the fjord, and to Solund.(free ferry) Remember to shop before you arrive, not shop in Rutledal. Welcome.

Nearest supermarked is in Naustdal, 12 km from the cabin, and local cafe/shop is 10 min away. Free WiFi in the cabin. Motorboat for rent (summer season). Self service farm shop with fresh eggs!

We really enjoyed the 5 nights we spent at Kristin's and her family's. The place is charming, it's a small old country house on the shores of a lake, and there are a lot of hikes to do in the area (found on the site ut point no). Kristin took the time with her husband and children to take us to feed the alpacas and goats and answer my many questions about her breeding, it was a very interesting time and the animals are very cute. The house is equipped with everything you need and more; we were even able to make waffles in an electric waffle iron :D Finally, we are very grateful that she trusted us to come with our dog to her farm, as it could be stressful for her animals. Authentic stay 100% recommended
