It was nice to be welcomed by a caring couple, and the room was relaxing! Although there are many private lodging far from the station, it was also helpful to be within walking distance from the station. Thank you for telling us a lot about Wakayama. The rice I received is also very delicious and the bath is spacious! I wanted to see the surroundings, so it was also helpful to be able to rent a bicycle. This time, I will be a guest at a coffee shop, thank you very much (^_^)

Tayumu, a rich experience in touch with the countryside

The place is absolutely fantastic, a traditional house that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another era. Yukako was a truly wonderful host! Not only did she welcome us with great kindness, but she also took us around the entire area to see the cherry blossoms and some beautiful temples. She even brought us to do a hanami (a picnic under the cherry blossoms), where she offered us snacks and drinks. Without a doubt, one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on Airbnb. Hope to be able to come back soon

On our way to Koya-san, we decided to stay at Hashimoto for one night. Despite having little expectations as we did not do much research on the area, Tamatsu-san and his wife Kazue-san kindly introduced the area and provided us rental bicycles to get around. It was incredibly helpful as the sights in the town were beyond walkable distances. The cafe also had lovely home-cooked dinner and breakfast which we enjoyed very much, accompanied by small chats with both of them. Tamatsu-san also very kindly offered to drive us to a train station as he was on his way to the market. It’s worth a trip down if you don’t mind taking the journey to walk a little further from the Kii-Yamada station or EVEN BETTER if you’re driving. Definitely recommend any travelers to try out exploring Hashimoto as a different side of Japan and staying here.

Free handmade breakfast in the countryside! A quiet house at the foot of Mt. Takano! Limited to one group per day! About 50 minutes to Mt. Takano, Sunrise View

Such a wonderful host and the place was just amazing. As there were no other guests, I had the entire upper part of the house to myself. The balcony had such lovely views of nature and the beautiful sunrise and sunset. A large supermarket and Mc Donald’s is in 7 min walking distance. The host was so kind to pick me up and drop me off at Kamuro station as I had a lot of luggage with me. If you’re wanting a place that’s peaceful and be close to nature - this is the place!

Sakamotoya Muji Room was a great place to stay. Dinner set was very good. The place is beautiful with great view and the bedroom was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Mr Sakamoto was very friendly and helpful and was there to guide us all the time. He also picked us up from the station and brought us to different restaurants. He took extra care of us. Yoshinoyama is a beautiful place. I think we were there slightly off season so the place was peaceful and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. Great for small hikes, visiting temples and enjoying nature. Great stay. We plan to come back during sakura season.

I had an experience that was worth more than the price. The room was beautiful and full of amenities. The staff was also wonderful, and they were flexible with our late arrival. You should definitely add the optional meal. This time, I had kuzu udon for dinner and a Western food plate for breakfast, but both were very delicious. If I have the chance to go to Yoshino again, I would love to stay again.
