Gîte de l'Abbaye de Moutiers-Saint-Jean

Very good stay in this cottage, which is well suited to fairly large groups. We were 4 couples with 5 children and we found the accommodation well equipped and suited to our needs. The little kids loved the tricycle and pedal tractor provided by the owner. The adults took advantage of the space and the garden to play and hide. And the adults were able to enjoy the barbecue and terrace. A complete change of scenery. Also, the cottage is well located in relation to Lake Pont, nice for swimming, canoeing, hiking, etc. Finally, David, the owner, is a very nice and considerate person, ready to give us good advice.
An authentic stone manor surrounded by lush greenery and colorful flower beds is depicted. Multiple outdoor chairs are positioned on a grassy lawn, creating a relaxing space. The structure features a distinct tower, while vines partially cover the façade, adding character to the historic building.

Unusual manor at the gates of Morvan, Burgundy.

QuentinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely stay at this castle. The place is large and there is plenty of space which was very nice for the 5 families we were. At the end of May, the lawn was not yet mowed, it's a bit of a shame, but there is still a lot of space outside and we accommodated it, but we still suffered a bit from the pollen... Nicolas is very responsive and the house was as described, and as we were looking for. I recommend it!
A spacious bedroom features a four-poster bed draped with sheer curtains. Soft lighting is provided by bedside lamps on either side of the bed. A wooden door leads to a private bathroom, and a patterned rug adds warmth to the wooden floor.

Marie-Luce and Rémy were very kind and welcoming and involved us in their daily activities. And the breakfasts - wow - they deserve a Michelin star. The best hosts ever.

La petite maison du Château de Bois le Roi

This is a great place to relax and escape from the day to day stress. One can go for walks for hours in the woods directly around the cottage without ever encountering anyone (except deer, wild board and roe). The cottage is well equiped and very comfy. I fully recommend it.

Maartje was a responsive and available person (very available) for people who stayed in this atypical property who all decided to come back next year. I would recommend this rental.

Lovely air-conditioned accommodation with pool access.

Beautifully recently renovated (2021) gites that meets all the comforts! Two airconditioners, two toilets, large fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, electric hob, waffle iron, coffee maker, kettle and even more.. Great bed and nice bathroom. Gilles was really friendly. The gites is located on a dead end street. The pool is next to the church (2min walk). Lovely pool, clean, share with other guests - but that wasn't a problem for us. There is also a toilet and changing room by the pool. Also spacious garden with lounge set. Car you park by the garden, behind closed doors. For example, the car is free and safe. That's nice. The Loire is a beautiful river. Village is quiet and the area is beautiful. Restaurant M was recommended!

Montchevreau Castle

CorinneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Very beautiful 17th century castle weathered by time. An enchanting place. A true haven of peace in the middle of a park of several hectares and yet 7 minutes from shops and the Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire train station. We were a family of 19 people + a dog and everyone was delighted with the stay. Quiet and restful. Tastefully decorated rooms, period furniture and very comfortable bedding. Sophie is a very friendly host, full of good tips for activity ideas and accommodating for check-in and checkout times. Thank you so much for hosting us. We had a wonderful time. We took advantage of the beautiful weather to eat outside amidst the birdsong. I recommend this property .
