Halfway between Yellowstone NP and Cody makes a perfect base from which to explore Cody and Yellowstone or just relax in the quiet with views of wilderness mountains and the Wapiti Valley along the North Fork of the Shoshone River. We own Tongue River Winery, and our home sits opposite the winery across the vineyard. It is a large comfortable home on 20 acres on the edge of town with no traffic, peace and quiet. We welcome all people. We speak English and German with a little French. Five cats also share our home. We keep this room (Vineyard) pet-free but do have a separate room for travelers with pets. (See the Sunny room). Wine tasting at the winery is free, and coffee and breakfast are provided.

This is the historic "Log Cabin", our most popular cabin. 20 minutes from world famous fly-fishing on South Fork of the Snake River. 1 hr 15 min from Grand Tetons NP, 2 hrs 15 min from Yellowstone NP. The cabin is 1 room with a queen size bed, bunk bed, twin bed and a private bathroom with tub and shower. There is a porch with an over hang and a bench and chairs, as well as hammocks nearby. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air and peacefulness of the area!
