A Perfect Little Sanctuary in the Heart of Canberra I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Metropol, Canberra. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the city, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and attractions, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. The apartment itself is a little sanctuary. It’s beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and has such a warm, inviting atmosphere. The interiors are stylish and thoughtfully decorated, making it a truly relaxing space to unwind. Despite being in a central location, it’s incredibly quiet, allowing for a restful stay. The host was fantastic—very communicative and responsive, ensuring a smooth check-in and a comfortable experience throughout. This house is spectacular, the photos don’t do it justice! It definitely felt like a luxury house and the location is great for takeout, shopping and in a quiet street for the kids.

Aaron was super accommodating to my needs as we were in a tricky situation due to floods. We appreciate Aaron's hospitality and look forward to staying in this apartment again!

Our Coolac cabin was just what we needed on our halfway stop to Bright. Excellent for our dog Yogi who felt right at home. One of the farm dogs enjoyed visiting us and happily trotted into the cabin. The surroundings are really lovely with rustic decor. Rachael is so friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Travis apartmebt was even better in person than in the photos. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well laid out and very comfy beds. The kitchen had all of the amenities that we required. Easy walking distance to the Kingston wharf with all of the restaurants and café. Our kids enjoy bike riding, and there was plenty of options, including riding to Questacon and the local parks. Great accommodation for a family. The pool and upstairs area were an extra bonus, but the pool was quite cold- expected for this time of year. We didn’t use the underground parking as there was plenty of parking at the front of the apartment. We would happily stay at Trevor’s place again, thank you for having us.

We loved our weekend stay here so much we didn’t want to leave! It’s a fantastic apartment in an awesome location and it’s dog friendly! It had everything we could possibly need and Milo (our border collie) loved people watching from the picture windows in the living room. Aaron and co-hosts were very helpful and always available if needed. We will definitely be back.

I'm a regular visitor to Canberra and yet was surprised by some of the great features of this studio apartment. Quality appliances, double glazed windows, easy underground parking and convenient location. Add to that a cosy and well designed interior and a pet friendly policy, and this accommodation is hard to beat.

Great apartment, good location, great communication, easy checkin

A perfect little getaway to recalibrate. Peace and serenity with a real feel for country life. The choice of modern conveniences was welcome as much as the experience of keeping the home warm by collecting wood and having the indoor fire place. The water restriction was unerving simply because i wasnt used to it. Watching them herd the sheep was a real thrill and highlight. The dirt road in is well maintained and suitable for my Mazda 3 even when it rained heavily. Check in was only delayed by the GPS being off, but Mandy kindly came and found me 1klm too far up the dirt road and guided me back. Watch for the signage and don't trust GPS lol. my pup felt at home and enjoyed herself immensely. As did my family that popped in to visit. I felt safe despite being alone with my puppy. No curtains in main living areas was new lol, but went unnoticed by day two. The views are picture perfect.

My accommodation was beautiful, clean and cozy. Where the property is situated it’s very private and peaceful and quiet, which is just what you need to get away from the hustle of the city. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends easy to get to clear instructions and only 20 minutes away from the nearest Township which comes in handy if you just need your basic necessity also a few cafes and a Art Gallery.

The farm house is just as it is described, beautiful, warm and comfortable. We were there on a particularly cold weekend and never felt cold in the house. The animals, next to the yard, are friendly and entertaining, our kids were interacting with them all weekend. The yard is fully enclosed for pets. The property is quite isolated, so is very peaceful. There is a supermarket/liquor 10minutes away in town. Zoe was excellent with her communication and very responsive to any questions we had. I can see myself booking the house again in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This beautiful home is only a 6-minute drive from Gundagai town centre. The views are magnificent and the house is so spacious, clean, well-designed and has all the things you need. Touch-pad entry made it easy getting in and out. It was peaceful and seeing all the natural wildlife and farm animals was a real treat! Thank you Phil for kindly allowing us to stay and enjoy this magical place of yours. We have certainly raved about it with our family and friends already! We wish you every success and hopefully will get the chance to visit again in the future! We had a fantastic time at Little Plains. The house is spacious and has been decorated gorgeously and has everything we needed as a family of 9 for a long weekend. Charlie and James were both exceptionally responsive to our questions that we had and quick to action any issues that arose. If you’re after a peaceful comfortable weekend away in the country, then definitely recommend this place!

This was a great house to have a holiday in with our friends, the games room down stairs was a great bonus. Vivian was friendly and helpful. I highly recommended and would stay again.

We were warmly welcomed by Kathleen and Ken. They were lovely and very friendly people. They gave us a tour of the farm, patiently answered our questions and my son got to feed the cow and sheeps which was the highlight of the trip for him. Property was very neat and clean and had beautiful views. Kathleen and Ken live on the property so they will be available if you need any assistance, but you will have your complete privacy as well. I would love to visit again.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful retreat. The Convent was clean and thoughtfully presented, making it feel like a home away from home, perfect to accommodate large groups. We loved our stay, relaxing in the peaceful gardens with the birds chirping, spending mornings on the deck sipping a cup of tea and evenings enjoying a bbq with breathtaking sunset views. Conveniently located within walking distance to the town centre and close by to other popular towns, local eateries and wineries. Our hosts, Joshua and James were fantastic - responsive, informative and welcoming. The house was well equipped with everything you need and the beds were very comfortable with super crisp linen. Multiple split systems throughout made for a very comfortable stay. We appreciated the generous and thoughtful welcome gift, including local produce and champagne which we loved. Highly recommend for a quiet weekend away to recharge and relax.
