Retreat Resort Wild nature, private room and onsen

We had a brief but very relaxing and peaceful stay here. Jun and Kimi are lovely people and the whole place has their kind and warm energy within it. Jun has some fascinating historical facts to share on the area if you are interested, and Kimi makes stunning crystal jewellery. Highlights were their delicious food, the gentle ambient music playing, the beautiful view to the lake from the dining room, the private bath with pure spring water from nearby and the comfy pillows. Only downside was that the mattresses were a little on the thin side for us but I would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you both for a very memorable stay.
An elegant dining presentation is displayed, featuring multiple small dishes of seasonal ingredients. A variety of colors and textures from salads, steamed vegetables, and rice can be seen, accompanied by a pot for cooking at the table. Wooden chopsticks rest beside the bowls.

Kakurinbo - Buddhist temple stay 3

JeffRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Traveling to remote mountainous locations, well away from the bustle of a city can be daunting for travelers. However, the incredible team at Kakurinbo Buddhist Temple is exceptional in every way. They truly made our trip to Kakurinbo quite incredible. Saeko, Sho, and the many other wonderful team members are special in their ability to help you feel so comfortable and at home in their temple accommodations. We are eager to return for sure.

Julian's Pension - B&B

ThomasRating, 5 stars7 months ago
I had a wonderful time at Julian's Pension and can highly recommend this B&B to anyone. Katrina and Julian were really friendly and it was easy to communicate with them. Thanks to the advice from Katrina, I was able to experience their local Onsen, the Fujimi Panorama Resort and learned a lot of really interesting facts about the life in Japan. The private room and shared facilities were really clean and had everything I needed. Western style Breakfast and dinner was always delicous. There are still places in Fujimi I would love to visit and if it works out, I would really love to stay at this B&B again.

It’s hard to put into words how incredible my stay at Peace One was. Jun and everyone at Peace One went above and beyond to make it a stay to remember. From the exquisite evening feasts, relaxing Onsen and sauna to the stunning picturesque location, it really is a hidden gem drenched in spiritual history and architecture. I met some truly amazing souls during my stay and was blessed to experience one of Jun’s insightful shrine tours …. Something not to be missed during your stay! If that wasn’t enough you’re in a prime location to hike up Mt Shakushi with spectacular views of Mt Fuji and surrounding areas. The town of Fujiyoshida is also a walkable distance away. Immerse yourself in traditional Japanese culture for rest, rejuvenation and exploration on a mental, physical and spiritual level with a stay at Peace One

The food and the room were very satisfactory. It was my first time using it, but it was an explanation of the access to the inn, and the communication after I arrived was very polite and pleasant. I would like to stay again if I have a chance.

【A White Guesthouse in the Forest】Breakfast/5ppl

This house is vintage with lots of charm. Was 15 minutes walk to the lake and transportation. Not too many choices of restaurants that are near by. I’m happy I had breakfast included in my reservation. The owner is an energetic, older lady very sweet, she made the best breakfast for me every morning. Thank you so much for your hospitality and helping me during my stay.

204 Yamanakako Pension - A break

Couldn't recommend it more!Beautiful house, close to Yamanakako and Hiranoya Station, you can see Mt. Fuji when you go out.The daily breakfast is great. I stayed here for 2 days and was surprised to eat the host's own American and Japanese breakfast. It's really thoughtful. ~ Because I'm here to ride around Mt. Fuji, the host also took us around the lake and introduced us to the attractions along the way. Thank you very much.🙏💗
The entrance of the B&B is illuminated at night, featuring a modern facade with warm lighting. Large windows allow visibility into the lobby area, where a welcoming atmosphere is created. A pathway leads to the entrance, which is framed by neatly arranged landscaping.

Spacious room with a small Japanese-style room overlooking★ Mt. Fuji

We enjoyed our stay at HAOSTAY for our day trip to Mt Fuji! The hotel has breathtaking views of Mt Fuji. Check was in easy and they held our luggage until our rook was ready. We love the welcome snacks and keychain welcoming us. Room was just as described and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The free breakfast was lovely and Theresa rooftop terrace to take in the views of Mt Fuji while drinking your coffee. The only complaint of our stay was the downstairs cafe was offering two dinner options, since it was raining the first night we got there, we opted in for the dinner at the hotel. The food was good but when we went to go pay, the waitress says it cash only which caught us by surprise as there was no signs or we were told this was cash only. Thankfully we had some cash but there were other patrons dining at the same time who also wasn’t aware and didn’t have cash on them which led them to walk to the nearest store in the rain to take cash out.
