This cozy three-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom home is conveniently located in Petersburg, Alaska, and is within walking distance of all the town's attractions. The house is just 1 mile away from the airport. As you enter through the front porch, you'll find the living room, dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, and a full bathroom. This cozy little cabin has modern amenities and is nestled amongst the trees on the coast of POW in Coffman Cove, Alaska. The cabin offers waterfront views of the Clarence Straits, whale watching, orcas, deer and Bald Eagles. The summer days are long and beautiful. It might take you a couple nights to get used to the peacefulness of Alaska. Sometimes the whales or Bald Eagles will wake you as they pass by. Wifi access, dishwasher, washer, dryer, microwave and coffee maker are all included.

Helse Vacation Rental

My place is one block from the library, three blocks from down town and five blocks from the schools and community gym/pool. Harbors are only four blocks away and scenic Hammer's Slough is across the street. This house is brand new September 2016. In addition to the other amenities, we have a freezer for our guests who have come to town for their dream fishing trip. There is also a picnic table on the deck. We have a barbeque on the deck as well. You'll have to buy your own briquettes.

Walk right across the street to stroll around Petersburg's impressive commercial fishing harbor and just a few blocks to down town. This updated house comes stocked with all the amenities you could want to make your stay. Hot tub, Oled TV, Modern kitchen appliances, WiFi, home office, work out area, large yard, large deck, bbq, etc. Wake up and have your coffee looking out at magnificent Devil's Thumb and mountain range. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Watch whales, porpoises, eagles, deer and other wildlife through the wall of windows looking out onto the Clarence Strait. Spend some time in the tide pools looking for sea creatures at low tide. A truly serene place. Four beds can be converted to two king beds. Go fishing at many creeks, rivers, or lakes or take a charter from the Coffman Cove marina to fish for King salmon, halibut, ling cod, rock fish, and shrimp.

Our units are nestled in the heart of the historic community of Thorne Bay. This two bedroom getaway is centrally located right in the middle of town, but feels like you're out in the country! Our upper unit offers two bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom and a washer & dryer. There is a full bed that can accomodate 2 people and two twin beds in the loft. The loft stairs are steep and are not a good fit for small children. Lots of sunshine, privace and peace!

588 sf apartment only a couple blocks from the South Harbor and a 1/2 mile from downtown. Great quiet neighborhood with views of the mountains. The apartment has everything you need, including a washer a dryer. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances and utensils. There isn’t much furniture aside from the basics, and no tv. This is an excellent place if you plan to be out during the day and want somewhere comfortable to cook and sleep.

The Coho Cottage — a cozy cottage by the sea.

This little cottage has a great view of the Wrangell Narrows and the mouth of Petersburg Creek. Watch boats, whales, fish and much more right out the window. Located by the ferry terminal and a 15 minute walk to downtown. There is a bike/walking path along the Wrangell Narrows right outside the front door. Kevin’s lodge is beautiful and peaceful. The bed was really comfortable and he provided an exquisite crab dinner and breakfast. He shuttled us to and from the airport and even took us to town to grab lunch for the plane ride before takeoff. His place has a freezer to store fish and has boxes available to purchase.

New place to stay

Narrows Nest

This was a great fit for our family! The setting was beautiful and quiet with incredible views of the mountains and water from the big deck and gathering areas. The house was clean and well equipped. The beds and furniture were really comfortable and the place was cozy. We sat on the deck watching the sea lions, eagles, and boats. It was a quick drive into town for great food (try the Salty Pantry) and things to see. There's also a good grocery store in town. People in the community were extremely friendly and the nearby fishing was amazing. The nearby dock didn't bother us at all, there was rarely anything happening there. Steve was a friendly and helpful host. We will definitely be back! Alaska as only Alaska can do it!

We loved staying at Erin's place in Petersburg. It was very welcoming and reflective of the Norwegian culture of the community. Erin quickly responded to our questions and provided for our needs. We would definitely wish to stay there again should we return to Petersburg.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Harbor Heights. The place was clean, affordable, and had a calming atmosphere. Joy was attentive and incredibly helpful; it was a pleasure working with her. As a solo traveler, I was initially unsure about sharing a space with strangers, but the keypad locks on the front and bedroom doors, along with the locking bathrooms, made me feel safe and comfortable. I really appreciated all the amenities available—though I didn’t use all 57! Not having to pack shampoo, conditioner, soap, or a hairdryer was a huge relief. One of my favorite things about staying there was having a kitchen that allowed me to ease into my day without rushing to town for coffee and breakfast. I’d love to stay here again—perhaps when the weather is warmer so I can enjoy the deck! I’ll definitely recommend Harbor Heights to others. Thank you!

Great place. Quiet surroundings. Nice Host. Met me on arrival. Responds quickly to texts. I ask about dropping off luggage before checking and he accommodated luggage in front room. Let me know when room was ready.
