Our dock runs 5-6 feet deep — deep enough to actually jump off, which is rarer on this lake than you'd think — plus a slide into the shallow end the little ones won't get off of. Kayaks and a paddleboard included. Meanwhile you're on the shaded back deck with coffee, looking straight down at the dock. The Longhorn Guest Cabin

This is a newly renovated guest cabin located on a 70 acre ranch with access to walking trails, the Theuvinin creek for fishing and three miles from the start of the National Park Service Turkey Creek trail and the Pitcher Plant Trail. During summer months the park service has night hikes, canoeing, star gazing and free fishing days. Microwave oven available. Cabin accommodates 4 guest with a minimum of a four night stay.
