Marla is a great host. We have stayed with her multiple times and each stay is wonderful. Clean home, very responsive host, and close to downtown Centralia. We definitely recommend this property and host.

Rosemary’s place was very nice and clean. We all enjoyed our stay very much including our 4 kids. We have stayed in a few air bnb’s for our cross country move and Rosemary was the only one who had a cute nursery set up and infant toys. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your place.

The Little House was absolutely perfect!!!! And we couldn’t have asked for a better host! I stayed and worked on a computer project while my husband fished Rend Lake. It was peaceful and we had everything we needed and more! Plenty of parking for the boat, strong WiFi, extra snacks and goodies, and just an all around fantastic stay! Tracy was easy to chat with and gave us great recommendations, including a beautiful walk at The Rend Lake Dam Trail! We will return to The Little House when we return to Rend Lake for sure!

Hands down, the best (host) communicator, I have ever worked with through Airbnb! Extremely friendly! The house sits on beautiful land, with the pond. It is extremely quiet-off the beaten path. The house has family history, which was nice hearing. It makes one appreciate the house more (knowing the history). The kitchen has nice farmhouse style updates. New products were added right before our stay. The carpets were even shampooed (right before our stay). Something else that caught my eye-this was the first Airbnb that we have stayed at that is part of the local Chamber of Commerce. That shows that the host(s) care(s) about the community! If you are in the Mt. Vernon, IL, stay here! It has a very homey atmosphere!
