The Old Farmhouse

The Old Farmhouse is a century old Queenslander surrounded by working vineyards. It has been extensively restored and is carefully furnished with vintage and antique furniture. It has a large country kitchen ideal for those who love to cook. Beautiful lounge room and bedrooms make for a luxurious holiday. The house boasts wide wrap around verandas, 2 fireplaces and a fire pit in the large yard. It is located 10 minutes south of Stanthorpe and central to all the attractions on the Granite Belt.

Welcome to Gum-tree Lodge, situated on a quiet rural property 30 minutes west of Toowoomba where we have a few cattle, 3 dogs & 2 cats. Tenants have use of a fully self contained one bedroom unit with a queen bed & a sofa in the living area that can sleep 1 adult or 1-2 children. WiFi is available but there are no laundry facilities. A great place to stopover for weary travelers as we're just 7 mins from the Gore Hwy & the town of Southbrook. Ample parking. Complimentary tea & coffee.

Zuny Yurt is a unique 8 sided building nestled in the heart of Granite Belt wine country. Situated on 6.5 acres of rustic charm, with diverse wildlife on display and centrally located in Ballandean. We have 12 wineries within a couple of km’s that offer world class wines and Strange Bird varieties. Also, it is a short 5 min walk to the General Store & Bakery as well as the Ballandean Pub, a 10 min drive to Girraween National Park and 5 min drive to Storm King Dam.

Stroll along a country road to visit wineries, cafes. and what the Granite Belt has to offer. For the avid cyclists, link into the Granite Belt Bike trail or just relax on the deck.

Melness Cottage

Melness cottage is a comfortable studio style accommodation on a 2500 acre farm 33km out of Goondiwindi. The cottage is separate to the main house and you will have private entry. It is only 300m from the highway to our entrance. There is a fire pit area to enjoy during your stay and the creek is a short walk from the cottage. For meals there is a microwave, Weber BBQ, bar fridge, kettle and toaster. A few basic breakfast supplies can be provided.

Rachel's Cottage.

Rachel's Cottage was built my my great grandfather around 1898. The family lived there until my great Aunty Rae died in 1986. We repurchased it in 2004 in a very derelict state. We have renovated the cottage, keeping the original style as much as possible. The kitchen and bathroom are accessible via a small covered verandah. We welcome a pet or two but there are strict conditions for this and approval must be sought first.

It is packed with rustic charm and oozing with the warmth of yesteryear, yet filled with todays comfort. Beautifully peaceful, secluded, and surrounded by nature. For the perfect switch off spot there is no phone reception or wi-fi.

A five-minute stroll will get you into town to find cafes and shops and then you can return to the peace and quiet of the bird filled backyard. The pool area can be used in summer and the deck is warm on winter mornings. We live in the adjacent house and are happy to help with whatever you need.
