This amazing family home is located on the beautiful estate 'Heerlijkheid De Eese'. A vast nature reserve on the border of Drenthe, Friesland and Overijssel. The villa is cozy, full of comforts and stylishly furnished. There is an extensive luxury kitchen, several lovely sofas in the living room and 4 bedrooms with good beds. Enjoy the Drenthe peace and space from our Bakhuis, traditionally the farmhouse. We have transformed our Bakhuis into a wonderful place from where you can walk, cycle or mountain bike endlessly in one of the three beautiful nature reserves around Wapserveen. To then enjoy one of the darkest places in the Netherlands by night. In the backyard is the colony of Benevolence, which became a world heritage site in 2020.

Stayed 1 night at Ella's. Everything was there, the reception was pleasant. The house is large and nicely arranged. Everything is present and Ella is nearby. Enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back to explore the Weerribben further.

Wonderful place. My 2 little ones enjoyed themselves. Every morning hiking, trampoline jumping and playing with the duplo. Get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the tranquility and outdoors. Nearby is also plenty of fun to do.

Wonderful stay in a modern airbnb. Beautifully spacious bathroom, lovely large bed and kitchen what we needed. Close to the Colonies of Benevolence and the Drents-Friese Wold. Actually in between what had the advantage that the location (Boijl) is not touristy, but close to the culture, nature and relaxation. Siebe is a relaxed host, which clicked well.

Our family of 3 loved our 6 night stay with Bert and Gineke. They were so welcoming and hospitable, and eager to help in any way. We were greeted with a homemade lemon cake, and made comfortable at every turn. we feel we have new friends. We were hoping for both rest and fun things to do and found both for our stay in Giethoorn. (we came on train/bus, and then just rented bikes for our whole stay so that we would easily be able to get around). Found so many beautiful bike routes to explore.

Incredibly beautiful and comfortable house. We were there in one of the warmest weekends with the whole family. The shade and air conditioning were therefore great. Everything is available for the children, but also for cooking. A super nice sofa and nice fine tables to eat at. One of the best places for a family weekend!
