The wife and I rented this property for our one-year anniversary with our three dogs. The property was private, peaceful, and a perfect spot for us. We had a great time relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings, and our dogs loved exploring the yard. Highly recommend!

Very nice home with plenty of space, with beautiful surroundings. Close enough to town to be able to retrieve anything needed for the stay, but far enough to feel like you are in the middle of the woods. Would stay here again.

The chalet was beautiful, clean, and peaceful. The hot tub was amazing and we had everything we needed. Great place to relax or enjoy nearby activities. 100% recommend! Was not overly price and well worth what we payed for a relaxing weekend which was exactly what we was looking for. Michael was simple, kind, and gave directions that was easy to find the location of our destination. We will be back again. Thank you so much for a nice affordable well worth getaway!

Mountain Creek Lodge 2 Bedrooms/2 Bath

LaceyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My fiance and I were able to book the cabin for a last minute weekend getaway. The house was very clean, cute and perfect for what we needed. Our dog enjoyed the big fenced in yard, and we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. We had everything we needed to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner (bring your own seasonings though), and got restful sleep! We were beyond grateful to enjoy this home for the weekend! The biggest complaints on the reviews are the wifi and the driveway... we didn't have any issues with either personally.. but if you're afraid to get your car dirty or need to work the whole trip, maybe pick something closer to town.. otherwise its perfect to unplug and unwind!

This is a truly special cabin. A perfect escape from everyday life. The setting is magical, with an open meadow bordered by a mountain stream. We spent our time lounging on the deck in the hot tub while snow fell around us. The night sky is so clear and I haven't seen so many stars in ages. The cabin itself is rustic, clean, and charming. Highly recommended!

The Yellow Cabin at Wood Mountain Campground

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Amazing location to explore all New River Gorge and surrounding area has to offer! We made a few meals inside the cabin, but had plenty of great restaurant recommendations to try too! We brought our laptops to watch shows on, but were very happily surprised to see TVs had been added to the listing which made for some great nights after our hikes! Check out was amazingly easy! Would definitely be interested in staying here again in the future!

The Toasted Marshmallow - Cabin by the Lake

It’s a perfect place for a vacation of hiking and rafting. We used it as a respite on the halfway point heading home from a southern vacation. It was comfortable, super clean and a supremely well equipped kitchen. There’s a nice neighborhood bar and grill a stones throw away.

Brent's Cabin

JuliaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
My husband and I had a great time at Tracy’s cabin! The cabin had all of the amenities listed in the description plus some extras and was more accommodating than I expected. The area is private and quiet. If you are someone who isn’t comfortable with using water sparingly for dishes/bagged showers, consider bringing extra. The cabin had about 12 gallons available and we used a little more over 4 days. Be advised that this cabin is deep into the mountains, we lost service about an hour away. I recommend saving the address of places/trails you’d like to visit and using your vehicle’s GPS. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed unplugging for a few days. Highly recommend!

The Pond at Mt Nebo - a 16 acre retreat

ShilaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Our stay in this cute cabin was exactly what we were hoping for! The cabin itself was exactly as pictured and described and comfortable. It was very clean and clearly is taken care of very well. It is right off of a main road so there was some road noise but the location also made it easy to find. The pond on the property is picturesque and we spent an entire day reading, picnicking, and soaking in its beauty. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come again!

Cabin on the River at the Bare Farm

John And LeighRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Our family of three had a wonderful stay at this charming cabin! It was the perfect mix of peaceful and fun—the setting by the river is incredibly relaxing, and our child absolutely loved watching the horses and exploring the open space. The cabin was spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully stocked kitchen and cozy common areas. We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the porch, took easy day trips into Lexington, and enjoyed quiet evenings by the fireplace. If you’re looking for a family-friendly retreat surrounded by nature and animals, this place is a gem. We’d definitely come back!

The Lewisburg Lodge-Voted Coolest small town in US

JerriRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed at Alex's beautiful restored two story log cabin when in my hometown for a family reunion. The location in Lewisburg was perfect for our needs. The home was spotless and full of character. We appreciated the well-appointed kitchen because we had to make a dish to bring to the reunion while there. It is walkable to Food and Friends, Hill and Holler, Cafe Del Sol, and other shops, etc. The screened in porch was cozy. We would definitely stay again on a return trip.

Allegheny Cabin 3Bed/2Bath, Near Greenbrier resort

JanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our family loved this cabin and all the porches with places to sit and enjoy the sunset and fog rising from the valleys. Everything was perfect! Once you get used to the road and learn the short cut it’s easy to manage. Great water pressure and clean outside and in, beautifully maintained and landscaped. We also found the antiques and their descriptions interesting and thoughtful. We also were very comfortable with the furniture and bedding. Also, part of the decor was repurposed lighting and functional pieces, which was also appreciated and showed a proactive respect for the environment. Charlie, was very informative, knowledgeable and timely with all correspondence. Thank you for the stay!

This location was fabulous! We took the scenic drive in, and while it may have been a little longer it was BEAUTIFUL. We were able to kick back and relax and take in everything around us. We made sure to stop way ahead of time to get some groceries and sat out back and grilled every night for dinner, drank coffee in the mornings on the porch watching turkey and deer. Highly recommend!
