This little house started life as a woodworking shop. When we outgrew it, we made it into a guest house. It may be imperfect, but it's perfectly adorable. We have a peek of Mt. With views to the east of Burdoin Mtn, our backyard playground for mountain biking and hiking is at the end of our street. Downtown White Salmon is a 10 min. walk. Hood River a 13 minute drive.

Welcome to our family home since 2001. We are located in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, 4 blocks from downtown White Salmon, and a 5 minute drive from Hood River. You will have use of our entire main level, with 3 bedrooms, a brightly lit bathroom, large kitchen, formal dining, comfortable living room, deck with BBQ and a private setting with mature landscaping that provides incredible shade all afternoon. Our cozy 1 bedroom (queen bed) cabin is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a relaxing escape. Located on 26 acres where deer and turkey roam. Just a few minutes away from I-84 and Hood River. Please be aware that a 4WD vehicle may be required for accessing the property during the snowy season of December, January and February. Feel free to check with me, and I will give you current driving conditions! This is a very low snow year thus far, so no bad driving to report yet!

Cabin 43 on the White Salmon River

Cabin 43 is a new home we built ourselves located right on the wild and scenic White Salmon river. We finished this project (June, 2020) and are excited to share this beautiful place with guests. It features a King bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a 2nd king bed. We live in a cluster of 8 other cabins down gravel road in a very serene forest setting with a large field out front and private river side walking trails.
