Little House on the Hill - Gorge Getaway Home Base

This little house started life as a woodworking shop. When we outgrew it, we made it into a guest house. It may be imperfect, but it's perfectly adorable. We have a peek of Mt. Hood from the yard and lovely territorial views. At night, you can enjoy the beauty of a Milky Way sky far from city light pollution. Come. Enjoy. Relax. Burdoin Mtn Apt is a bright 2nd floor private-access apt w/ open living space, euro-style modern kitchen w/ gas range, washer & dryer and separate bedroom. 1 parking space + street parking. NO SMOKING. The living room has a work space, TV with Roku, a full size pull-out sofa bed, and new AC unit. With views to the east of Burdoin Mtn, our backyard playground for mountain biking and hiking is at the end of our street. Downtown White Salmon is a 10 min. walk. Hood River a 13 minute drive.

This private studio has its own entrance, bathroom, and kitchenette, and offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience and affordability. Downtown White Salmon is just a short walk away, where you'll find a bakery, grocery store, charming shops, and a variety of restaurants to explore. We chose to share our guest house primarily because the idea of sharing our stunning view appeals to us very much. We are so fortunate to have a view so special that we wanted to build a guest house for our friends and you! We designed our 600 square foot modern guest house with the intent of creating a very private honeymoon suite. Cabin 43 on the White Salmon River

Cabin 43 is a new home we built ourselves located right on the wild and scenic White Salmon river. We finished this project (June, 2020) and are excited to share this beautiful place with guests. It features a King bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a 2nd king bed. We live in a cluster of 8 other cabins down gravel road in a very serene forest setting with a large field out front and private river side walking trails.
