Cottage vacation rentals in White Point

Cozy, extremely clean and very well equipped. Beautiful property with, and neighbouring undeveloped lots with, treed primary, intermediate and the occasional old growth forest, including mostly red maple, white birch, eastern hemlock, balsam fir, black and red spruce and eastern white pine. That was the view from the hot tub overlooking the small lake. Perfectly nestled feeling, good bird watching and close to day trips and amenities.

The Beachcomber Cottage is the perfect place to unwind and spend the holiday with family. The cottage has everything we need to feel right at home. The night sky was amazing. We loved every minute.

We had a lovely stay at Melanie's cottage. The cottage was very spacious, clean and had absolutely everything that we needed. (bottle of wine was a nice touch) Melanie was very responsive to our questions and responded right away. The cottage is on a busy street but is relatively quiet when you are on the beautiful front deck. We would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to explore the area.

Beautiful layout. Felt like a five star hotel. Nature trail right out our door very very clean! Amazing!

My best friend and I stayed here with our kids and had a wonderful time! The view is amazing and we all enjoyed the wood fired hot tub very much. Plenty of bathrooms and space to hang out especially with two young kids. We would definitely book in again!

We had a great time at the Point House. The house gave us panoramic views of the cove and pond. Hot tub a plus. Emma was very generous, friendly and welcoming.

Great spot to stay! Super close to both Summerville and Carters Beach. Very clean and comfortable place. We wish we could’ve made use of the fire pit/hot tub as it was lovely, it poured rain during our whole weekend stay. Would love to return to this same location for a future stay.

Stone's Throw cottage is like a home away from home for me. I have been visiting annually for a number of years and no place could match it. Joe is the super host of super hosts - he has thought of everything and goes above and beyond to make sure his guests have a truly memorable experience. As always, I arrived to the most thoughtful treats - including fresh eggs, bread, butter, coffee, cookies, a candle, and more - and all of it local, too! I left relaxed, refreshed, and already planning for next year. Thanks, Joe!

The Loch was exactly what we needed..peaceful, relaxing and healing! The lake is beautiful! Took advantage of the warm May weather and experienced the kayak. Enjoyed watching the water plane take off!! Forest lined Road is beautiful for an early morning walk (with our Great Dane who also enjoyed the lake house!!)..in either direction and the neighbors are so friendly! The property itself it exquisite...modern, clean, comfortable with idyllic views of the lake from any angle! lots of feathered visitors (ducks, loons, and Canada geese + with their babies in tow). The surrounding villages and towns are fun to explore..lots of great shops restaurants and experiences. Highly recommend Foc'c'sle Village Pub in Chester (oldest in Nova Scotia!) and the Four Points Vintage Market Antique Mall in Blockhouse is full of treasures!! Overall a great destination!!!! So glad to have had the opportunity to experience this piece of paradise!

Great place. One of my favorites that I have stayed at. Private and peaceful (make sure that is what you are looking for). We went for a staycation style and just enjoyed the views of the water and cooking at the place. We went out to dinner a couple of times, once was an hour round trip, and the other was a two-hour round trip -- we knew this going in, so no complaints. We would be open to going again in the future perhaps with another couple as the place is set up perfectly with nearly identical master suites with their own bathrooms and an additional third bathroom on the floor with the living room/dining/kitchen area—just a great innovative design and set-up with awesome windows and views. The hosts were also attentive to our needs and even left a nice surprise to welcome us after our long drive. I would highly recommend it.

We truly could not write a more raving review of Claudia and Dragonfly Dreams – 10s across the board! We were looking for a peaceful getaway to relax and de-stress and we got that and so much more. Claudia's cabin was so peaceful we slept 14 hours our first night! The cabin is absolutely perfect. No other properties are within sight, making this feel like you are in your own nature's paradise. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils, cookware, and even spices, and we enjoyed staying in and cooking all our meals. The bed was extremely comfy (obviously!). We enjoyed a wonderful canoe and swim as well. We had to save the best for last – Claudia! Having stayed at many Airbnbs around the world, Claudia is up there as the best host we've ever interacted with. She is so warm, kind and accommodating. She is extremely responsive to messages and truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. We are so grateful for her and we will definitely be back one day! Don't hesitate to book!

I was lucky enough to stay at Scotch Cove with a group of my best childhood friends for a weekend reunion. The cottage itself and the artist's loft were charming, cozy, beautifully decoration and provided the perfect space for cozy evenings in. The dock was a staple for dips in the ocean and watching the sunset over the water. Thank you so much Kristine, I hope to be back again someday!!

I was looking for a last minute booking when I had to abandon my camping plans due to a storm. Dee was super responsive to my last minute request and was extremely accommodating making sure that I had plenty of fire wood and water in case the power went out. She also dropped off extra towels and blankets for my pup and was warm and welcoming to us both. The property is off the main road and was great for playing frisbee with my dog. The old store was wonderfully refurbished, keeping many of the original features while providing all the modern conveniences. I hope to be back!!!

What a beautiful property and house - situated right on the ocean above a tidal basin, with stunning views and sunsets, and a gorgeous deck with all amenitites, BBQ, and large comfortable outdoor couch. The garden below is also lovely, with bubbling creek running down to the sea and little stone bridge. Relaxation is a given in this place! The beds are super comfortable, with luxurious bedding and dreamy mattress (I think we will get ourselves an Endy!) Bathrooms on each level were squeaky clean with tons of drawer storage. It was a good situation for my 93-year old mom who has some mobility issues, as she could sleep in the main floor bedroom, with bathroom nearby too. Kitchen was small but functional and well-equipped. The cute town of Chester is only 10-15 mins drive away, with grocery stores, etc as well as some lovely little gift shops. We had a really nice time, thank you Greg!

We had the perfect girls weekend here at the cabin! Beautiful spacious and comfy place, and we loved the screened in porch and hot tub! Also, the games room?! Amazing !!! We had sooo many laughs playing ping pong and axe throwing!! The access to the beach was a perfect addition and the fire pit down by the water was stunning! This place has everything and more, if you were on the fence, jump off and book! Can’t wait to rebook, we will be back! ❤️❤️!! Thanks for making our weekend!!

We absolutely loved our weekend getaway at the cottage. The place was spotlessly clean and cozy and had all the amenities you could possibly need. The place is very private and we got to enjoy the kayaks and a lovely bonfire under the stars. The hosts are very accommodating, friendly and responsive. This is one of the nicest AirBnBs I have stayed at and we are already planning to come again next summer. Highly recommended!

Finnigan's Landing is a beautiful home with outstanding views of the ocean from every angle. Perfectly clean and everything in working order. The discription and instructions were very clear and helpful as well as suggestions for the nearby beaches and eateries to visit. We were able to find everything we needed for our stay including a lobster pot. Communication with the host was extremely easy and fortunately we were able to extend our stay in this lovely house an extra day. Will recommend Finnigan's Landing as a lovely place to stay on Dublin Shore.

We stayed here over New Year’s and it was the perfect getaway. Super comfortable, cozy woodstove, and amazing views. We’d definitely return!

My 78 year old Mum, my 58 year old self and 20 year old niece had a wonderful 3 nights, 4 days at this sweet little ocean front haven. It's always nice when a place looks as great in real life as it does on the internet : ) Beautiful sunsets (we were blessed with perfect weather) lovely ocean views, lots of seabirds and everything we needed was at this cottage. 2 very nice bedrooms upstairs and a super comfy day bed. Lots of dining and seating options outside with a very large barbeque and fire pit. Easy to cook anything in this small but efficient kitchen, hot plate worked great for breakfasts and we ate at both Tuna Blue and the Trellis for dinners. The ice cream at Black Harbour is to die for and the lovely folks at Hubbards SUP kayak and paddle rental were awesome. This a lovely area with little beaches everywhere, lots of people out walking and just a nice private little spot to unwind and relax. Thank you Melany - it was perfect.
