Welcome to my secluded, peaceful hideaway. The studio is a large open plan space. Large sliding doors completely open up the front of the building onto the deck, giving you a feeling of always being close to nature. Surrounded by trees, orchard, lawn and garden, the studio is a quiet retreat space. The sound of the sea and bird song are always in the background. It's 50m from our house and well hidden by trees, so you'll feel very private. The best beach in NZ is a 15 minute walk away!

Only 2 hours driving from either Tauranga, Rotorua or Gisborne - a good resting point. Lovely quiet cottage set on lifestyle block with many chickens and sheep. 3 minutes driving to fabulous Waiotahi beach and only 10 minutes into Opotiki for cafes and shopping. This Brand New compact studio, has a kitchenette with microwave, electric frypan, slow cooker, electric jug & toaster (no stove) It is within walking distance to town and a short driving distance to beaches, kayaking the rivers, hiking and biking trails, with the Motu cycle trail on the doorstep. Whale island tours leave from Whakatāne which is a short drive away. Opotiki has an amazing 3 level Museum that you can spend hours at.
