Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Weston

The place was great for our friend-reunion. We have a bunch of little kids and he space worked well for 5 families. Lots of bedrooms and far enough from common spaces that they were very quiet. The open kitchen/living room was our hub. The fireplace provided a great ambiance. The house is older, charming, and well taken care of. Weston is a classic southern VT town. Fun to walk into town for VT country store, ice cream, etc. There is also a playground that is open to the public at The Little School in town. Town Green is also a good place to hang out. It worked well for our little ones.

First and foremost, Julia is one of the most accommodating and most responsive hosts I’ve ever had. She was very friendly and proactively looked for ways to help me and my group feel welcome. Beautiful space scenically located on a Vermont mountainside - would absolutely recommend!

The home and location are great, but the hosts are what make this place. They go above and beyond to make your stay special.

Overall we very much enjoyed modern rural space. Kiss the Cow farm about 5min drive was amazing& we got most all main food there w/ additional items from Barnard General Store. Spices/ cookware were very good - we brought nonstick pans& 1 knife to supplement. Plenty bowls, measuring cups/spoons, maybe a set of tom collins glasses would be nice albeit stemless wine and rocks glasses available. Needs garlic/onion powder. Tub was amazing/ upstairs bathroom a true getaway/ relaxing space. It was as pictured albeit note spiral staircase &open grated flooring upstairs. Plenty of windows albeit not much cross breeze so think ahead if bring own fan and/or start A/C before get too warm. I would say you must have an SUV year round for this rental - surrounding roads/ driveway are a good distance on rough dirt/gravel - traversable yet a sportier car with low profile tires/ ground clearance would not work. We enjoyed simply walking driveway& East Barnard Rd. Barnard Inn restaurant worth it.

House and location - the house is beautiful and the view from the backyard is amazing. The location was as described. It was also great that the host shared that the cell service around the house is poor. Amenities - the amenities were great. We cooked while we stayed and the kitchen was fully stocked with anything we could possibly need. Including things like serving platters and bowls. It was also great that the fireplace was useable and stocked with wood. Extra - it snowed like crazy when we stayed. Having the plow service helped us in the driveway greatly! One edit to the listing - Belmont General Store was closed when we stayed.

Idyllic location and accommodations for our family of 9 . Thoroughly enjoyed the cozy fireplace (wood provided by owners) every night and place so accessible to town and skiing. Will very much look forward to staying here again Brian was so responsive and owners , while on site, were not in our way!

The home is gorgeous - thoughtfully decorated, cozy and clean. The location is perfect for access to Stratton and to Manchester. The host, Jason, provided very clear and helpful instructions for check-in, check-out and use of the home and is friendly and attentive. This is a wonderful place to stay!

The Grafton house was perfect for our multi-family with the big space, bedrooms, and bathrooms. We loved the living room area where we could all sit together for family games. The property and house are beautiful and the perfect Vermont vibes. As a skiing family, we liked the location between our favorite ski resorts. Raphael was a wonderful host in providing instructions before our arrival and helpful advice. We really enjoyed our stay at the Gafton house.

David and Mátti’s place is truly special. I feel very lucky that we got to stay there for a few days! Thank you to our hosts for creating such a serene, comfortable space. They went out of their way to say hello and make us feel at home. We had a barbecue one night, and David even brought over extra strong bug spray! We also love supporting the incredible work that they are doing with artists. My friends and I would love to stay here again for another trip to the Berkshires.

It was a wonderful stay. Whether you’re just looking to relax or for a little adventure this stay offers it all. Even though it was a rainy stay they offer plenty of movies, books and games.

Very lovely place located in a nice part of town. Mary and Lance were very welcoming and nice. We had a great stay and I strongly recommend this place for staying in Brattleboro.

We keep coming back to this beautiful apartment that is both spacious and elegant while feeling homey and cozy. It’s quiet, immaculately clean with a very comfy bed, nice hot shower, everything you need in the eat-in kitchen.

We stayed at Brian’s place during graduation weekend at a local college. It was in a beautiful country setting but was an easy drive back to campus. The beds were super comfortable and there was a nice view of the hills from the deck. Would recommend!

Best place we ever stayed! Mara was amazing and we had the best two days there. We got to spend time with friendly horses, cats, and chickens. We saw a bald eagles nest nearby, too. Front of the house was a peaceful farm vibe and the back was a gorgeous river view off the back deck. We enjoyed grilling our dinner and eating out back while watching the sunset. The deck lights were a nice touch. Simply stunning! Indoor fireplace was so nice too. Definitely book this place if you’re thinking about it! We will be back for sure!

The property, including an outstanding garden, is impeccable. It's close to some of the Berkshire's finest. I came to visit the Clark Institute, Williams College and Mass MoCA, all within easy access. The lodging is moving into a well-loved home, spotless with great amenities. They have a lovely fountain that runs, sounding like a mountain stream. It's great to wake to that sound along with the birds, in a breath-taking garden. And James is kind, friendly and a great host.

Stay was perfect, we were 10 girls and fit comfortably and could've fit more if needed. House was clean and exactly as shown in photos. Extremely convenient location to mountain and other bars/restaurants in the area. Would highly recommend for a group trip!

This was such an incredible place to stay! The whole mansion is absolutely stunning, the surroundings and views are beautiful. However, what made this stay truly special was the incredible kindness and hospitality of the host. This was a wonderful experience and we are all looking forward to our next stay!

This was perfect for my son and I to relax in over a weekend at Pico. Everything was clean, comfortable, and we loved the fireplace as an added touch. Convenience and location were perfect; walk right out the front door and you're skiing with the buzz of the lodge right there - true ski in and out. We will definitely stay here again, for longer next time hopefully!

This was a perfect spot for us as we attended a graduation. It was clean, had plenty of room and then goodness had coffee and a filter for the pot! Would highly recommend.

Beautiful old home full of an eclectic art collection. It served my group's needs well. Never did find the lockbox for the keys. Had to get them from the on-site groundskeeper, which was a difficult task given we had a significant language barrier. The outside of the house could use some maintenance, so if that is important to you, this may not be the place for you. My one complaint is that they expect you replace the paper towels and toilet paper you use. I would expect those to be included at any price, but especially for the price you pay for this location. Overall, it was a great stay for two nights and we had fun exploring the house.

Overall we had great experience at the house. The inner decorations were cozy and comfortable, and the design was awesome! The host was responsive when the new door lock had some issues. 100% recommend staying at this house!
