I had a truly delightful time at this beautiful home. The interior and exterior decorations were simply perfect for our small gathering with family and friends. I especially admired the banana plants around the house, the trees facing the river, and the outdoor fire pit was ideal for the chilly November weather. I highly recommend this house to anyone seeking a temporary escape from the city, even if it's just for a weekend. Kristy was very kind and even informed me that the river was low, just in case. However, this house definitely has other amenities and decorations to compensate for the river water levels. Kristy made me feel very welcome.

there aren't enough words to express how incredible our stay at the glynns home was. this was the most beautiful home and property I've ever seen. the home was immaculately clean & inviting, fully stocked with anything you might need to feel comfortable. the saint francisville staff was incredible & easy to get in touch with while being so responsive & helpful. I'm already anticipating another trip, thanks for everything guys.

A great home to escape to! It was a girls’ trip for us, and we absolutely loved the accommodations! The screened back porch was the perfect spot for drinks & laughs! The home is also conveniently located near New Rhodes & St. Francisville. We will be back!!!

Lovely place out in the country. We were in town for a family wedding, but I wish I could have enjoyed sitting out on the porches longer. Donna was super accommodating and very responsive. This would be a perfect place for a couples get away or just a place for some peace and quiet.

This was our 3rd time at Kirk’s Place and we felt right at home once again. Everything was clean and inviting . The views are always beautiful. Really great place to stay!

What a delightfully inviting country retreat--definitely an artsy cabin and peaceful sanctuary in the woods! I'm sure I'll be back to enjoy again the natural beauties and delights of the area, the history and culture and cuisine there too, and this home away from home too.

We enjoyed our stay in St.Francisville. Lots of history and friendly people. Robin was a great host. The coffee shop and lunch restaurant were excellent. We’ll be back!

This is the second year I've stayed with my dog at Kathryn's place on the order of 6 to 7 weeks. Similar to last year, I really enjoyed my stay at the rental and it served my needs very well again this year. The neighborhood is quiet, and it is nice to walk my dog on leash along the road for about a quarter mile without many houses and without much traffic. Kathryn is always communicative and checked in with me a couple of times to see if there was anything I needed. Again, I had an excellent experience staying at the rental!

Great place and very affordable. Clean and easy to access. Close to restaurants and historical attractions. Would definitely stay again.

What a beautiful, tranquil place - a sanctuary as the name says! Our kids (9 and 3) loved walking and playing in the creek. We loved the screen porch and had all our meals and lounging time there. Panoramic beautiful scenery from the living room, the screened porch, and upstairs. Cabin was cozy and clean. Beds and furniture were very comfy. They also had some toys and a fun puzzle for the kids. Also have to note the great book selection - for the kiddos in the loft upstairs, and for nature loving adults on the shelves downstairs. We got a little mixed up finding the place at first (google maps address was off), but still were able to find it easily once going down the road based on the mailbox #s. We had a lovely spring weekend here, and look forward to returning!

Our hostess, Kristi was wonderful! When she emailed me she told us exactly how to get access into our cabin. We had an air conditioner issued. Text Kristi, she came right over and assisted. She even brought us the fan from her office for us to use. She offered and helped us get into another cabin due to the cooling problem. Helped us set up the television so we could watch it. Wi-Fi hooked up very easily to our devices. Bed was very comfortable too. Kristi gave assistance with where to eat, places to go see and do in town and nearby towns. The cabin and the town were quiet and peaceful, which was exactly what we wanted. We will stay there again if and when we go back.
