Very comfortable and easy to communicate with Claire! Just like the photos. Extremely beautiful, quiet, and peaceful neighborhood. Couch and largest bed extremely comfortable. Loved being here. For accessibility, there's a fully paved walkway from the driveway to basement entrance, just a few wide stairs with a very solid handrail. Well lit. Bathroom is two toilet rooms adjoining a central shower room (all connected with pocket doors). You walk through the daybed room to reach the common spaces.

We had a wonderful stay at Shafia’s place! We enjoyed the area and rode the Metro from the Franconia Springfield station into DC. This was a great place to come back to at the end of the day. Beds were comfortable and the space was perfect for us. (Girls’ Trip!) We visited AmThai close by, Mount Vernon, Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant, The Library of Congress (tickets in advance), Zaytinya (reservations), the National Portrait Gallery, Virtue Feed & Grain (reservations), Old Town Alexandria, Old Town Books, the Swiss Bakery nearby, Barca (reservations), and Tous Les Jours Bakery & Cafe. Juniper Place was a more than lovely stay for our 2 families. The home was pristine, beds were amazingly comfortable, kitchen, dining area nicely accommodated. The backyard with fireplace was an added bonus that we enjoyed several evenings during our stay, basement with additional living space and gaming for teens was also great! Kitchen snacks, drinks and amenities was a wonderful touch! Great property and great host, highly recommended!! Job well done Jack :-}

This was, I believe, our 5th year staying at Kate’s. Always comfortable - always spotless! In fact, this is by far the cleanest Airbnb we have ever booked. Kate is a very responsive host as well - super helpful with any questions we have ever had! We will continue staying here for our annual NIH visit as long as it is available to us! We had a very pleasant five day stay at Esther’s White House. The property was immaculate every way and had everything that you would require to make for a worry free stay. Esther made sure we felt welcome and her level of communication was just right. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and loved the quiet and peaceful neighbourhood.

This property was very well listed, it was very clean and exceeded expectations. Easy parking and the place feels safe and clean. The hosts are amazing and we are very thankful for their hospitality. 15/10 recommend.

This was a short-notice trip, so our options were limited. We were fortunate that Diana & Vivek's place was available. It was more expensive than we're used to, but it was well worth it! There was great communication before and during our stay. The house was spotlessly clean. What really made it stand out was all kitchen stuff: spices, tools, snacks, drinks. I ended up needing to bake cupcakes & everything I needed was there except the mix, eggs, and frosting! The neighborhood was quiet - just what we needed. The backyard was big & beautiful, too. We'll happily stay there again if it's available when we travel to the D.C. in the future.

The rooms were very large. The living area was very comfortable and well set up with furniture and large TV. The kitchen was huge and it was large enough so one person could be watching TV and the other could be sleeping in the bedroom with no noise. Since the location in the basement, we can hear the pipes with water running through. Could hear some sounds above, but not too much. The shower is a bit small and located in a closet, the kitchen has a hot plate which was helpful. The location was close to a bus route to a metro station on weekdays, however, it was a bit of a walk to restaurants and stores since I had no car when my wife took the car to work. Over all it was a great place to stay and the host was very helpful.

My wife and I stayed at Amy’s place for roughly a week while we moved into NVA. Her place was excellent and at a convenient location - short drive to the metro, lots of restaurants and shops nearby, and I really liked the peace of the woods behind the house. We definitely recommend staying here. Amy and was very proactive with offering assistance and recommendations, the apartment was clean and spacious, nice kitchen, and the bed was comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!

Peter and Co-hosts were awesome. The place was easy to access, and Peter was proactive in sharing details and was awesome to let us park nearby after check out. Would definitely recommend, and would stay here again when and if returning to DC. The location was tucked away enough to be away from traffic but close enough to access the big sites if you have a car. 10/10 recommend. And he’s right. The most affordable place you’ll find!!

Erin offered very clear instructions that offered easy access. The Airbnb was spacious, very clean and had a super comfortable bed and pillows. It felt like you are in a lovely treehouse when sitting on the deck. It was lovely. The area is active and fun with great restaurants.

We loved staying here! Such a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood. We were able to walk to and from the zoo so easily which was perfect for us. The driving distance to go sightsee in D.C. was not bad either and the street parking was very convenient. Chris was always reachable in case we had any questions. Definitely would rebook here again!

This place is truly a hidden gem. I have family in the area and loved the convenience of staying nearby but having space for my family. The host was responsive and easy to work with. My wife generally prefers hotels, but even she loved it!

Very responsive host. The side yard is very nice for people with dogs that travel. Location is very nice but DC traffic during rush hour can be rough but this can be planned for. Would stay again.

The small apartment was perfect for my needs. Very quiet and peaceful. Great neighborhood with well kept homes. Paul was an excellent host that made accommodations for my earlier arrival. He was also very responsive and recommended walkable food/drink spots. The unit was impeccably clean. Would absolutely stay here again in my next trip to DC.

We were so happy with this basement apartment and location. Robert was very helpful and responsive. Most days we drove to the mall parking garage near the Pentagon and took the metro from Pentagon City station to the Smithsonian station (the pre-loaded $30 card available online was perfect for our stay). Driving from the unit to Arlington took mere minutes. It isn't too far from Mt. Vernon either. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. We would stay here again! The current pictures under sell the unit. We were very happy to find it was bigger than expected. It could use a little updating, but we didn't mind. All we did was sleep, eat some breakfast, and return each night with aching feet and legs from a typical day of walking D.C.

Celia was one of the most accommodating hosts that I have encountered. She allowed an early check-in and late checkout. She had apples, bananas and nuts for snacks in addition to coffee beans and even a couple of containers of milk, so I didn’t have to run out for coffee. The space is in a historic house in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. It was quiet and there was a nice, private porch outback, which was a great spot for reading. The neighborhood itself is lovely with well maintained yards. A Metro station is about 1/2 mile away which allows easy access to all parts of DC. We were so happy with the accommodations, so I highly recommended Celia’s place.

Tucked in the heart of Bethesda with a quiet charm that somehow still feels central to everything, this stay was a gem. Getting around was a breeze—whether by foot, metro, or last-minute snack run to the 24/7 CVS or 7-Eleven. The apartment itself? Immaculate. Fully stocked with everything we could possibly need—and then some. The internet didn’t blink, the TV was streaming-ready (a blessing for our nightly Netflix ritual), and we barely had to buy a thing beyond food. Rodrigo was the kind of host you wish all hosts were—attentive, responsive, and refreshingly clear with every detail. Winston, the building manager, was also incredibly kind and helpful. Bonus points for the cozy terrace, which turned into our favorite nighttime hangout spot. All in all, one of the most exceptional Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Would come back in a heartbeat—no hesitation, no second thoughts, just pure comfort.

Love this clean calm space-the balcony was wonderful. Mark was super responsive, checked in on us and we had everything we needed-especially in the kitchen. Great location for walking to restaurants and stores. Will definitely stay again!

This was a beautiful condo with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. It was so well stocked with everything you might need- more like staying with a thoughtful friend than at an Airbnb. The area was convenient to the metro yet really quiet for sleeping (even with kiddos who go to bed around eight). The pocket park just a block away was a perfect space for our kids to play. We would definitely stay here again!

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again.
