All around great stay, great location, super responsive host!

Absolutely loved my stay at this Airbnb in Dakar! The space was clean, stylish, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, offering great local tips that made my trip even more memorable. The location was perfect—close to great restaurants, markets, and the beach. I’d definitely book again!

I usually don’t go out of my way to leave a review but I’m so thrilled to leave one with our host, Seya. We had such a lovely stay at this Airbnb! Seya accommodated an early check-in when we arrived a bit earlier than expected. She gave clear instructions, making it easy to find the location, and was super responsive and helpful with local recommendations. The place was well furnished, spacious and spotless!! well kept bathroom, pristine kitchen, and squeaky clean linens. It looked just like the photos and had all the listed amenities. Great location, walkable to lots of restaurants and things to do, with beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The reception staff were also a great help with my bags. Highly recommend you stay here when you are visiting Ghana.

The apartment was splendid

The location was peaceful and safe. The apartment was clean and very restful. I booked this apartment mainly due to the picture provided and I an so pleased that I was not disappointed. Prince was very responsive and his team on ground were very helpful, professional and hospitable. I wholeheartedly recommend this please and will stay here again.

During my stay, I was particularly impressed by the warm welcome I received. Josephine was not only professional, but also very friendly, which immediately made me feel comfortable. The premises were spotless and well maintained, adding to the positive experience. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a place to feel welcome.

Mamie’s place truly felt like a home away from home. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, making our stay incredibly comfortable. From the moment we checked in, right through to the end (including a really kind late check-out), everything went so smoothly. The house felt secure although being close the main road which was great. The beach and shops were a walk away which was really useful. Mamie was an exceptional host—always responsive, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Her warm hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome. The house exceeded my expectations. The garden was absolutely beautiful and even offered fresh fruit and avocados, which was a bonus. I highly recommend Mamie’s place to anyone looking for a welcoming, well-equipped home including back up generator which is needed in The Gambia. Thank you for EVERYTHING Mamie and I Look forward to returning.

This was my third week at Daphnes, just kept extending our stay because it just has everything we needed and more. I liked the space, the house was cool and airy enough we didn’t use the aircon or fans. I’m quite a foodie and the kitchen is perfectly adequate to make delicious meals from local ingredients. The blender/ hob/ oven all fine. Plenty of cutlery and crockery , bakeware, serving platters and gadgets. Fridge/freezer nice and large. Coffee percolator- 🙏Thank you. Abundance of options for dining, breakfast on the covered patio, lunch & afternoon tea in the front garden. Dinner at the dining table either on the main floor or in the first floor lounge/ diner den( has sink)overlooking sea. I haven’t slept and relaxed so well in years. So many little extra touches that just made the stay so good. A real homely stay for peace and tranquility. Loved the hula hoop!!!! I’m sure I will return.

Landry’s seaside rental on the coast of Cotonou, Benin, was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Landry himself was exceptional in his communication — before our stay, during, and even after. He is a true gentleman and, to me, a wonderful example of the promise and potential that exists across Africa. During my wife’s stay, she encountered a small difficulty — nothing related to Landry or his property — but as soon as I reached out to him, Landry stepped in immediately, took care of the situation, and ensured she was comfortable and reassured. His attentiveness meant we never had to worry. I honestly cannot recommend Landry more highly. He is not only an excellent host, but also a genuinely good person.

Vianney's place was by far one of the best I've stayed in within my 11 years travelling through AirBnB. He went above and beyond to make our stay convenient and enjoyable. I recommend staying in his beautiful apartment!

A very unspoiled little corner on a dune and two boxes just behind, protected from the wind. This is a lovely seclusion to relax and enjoy the beach. It's very simple and authentic as in the photos. The hut has a bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Lamine is very good cook. At this price difficult to find better... Thank you and see you

Great place to stay for Busua surfing

We loved this house for our vacations, it was a perfect house to rent and enjoy Casamance for our family. The house is comfortable, the location is great, the communication was excellent. What a gem in a beautiful area !

During my 4 week trip from Morocco to Ghana it was the best equiped flat.

Very sweet and attentive . He gave us some great tips and was very responsive in case of problems. The place was great for our stay!

In addition, the kitchen is fully stocked to warm takeout or to make a home cooked meal. The location was ideal. Senagambia nightlife is a short walk down the street. Sĥould I visit in the future; I would love to stay for an extended visit! Mr Jatta you are very special, thank you again.

The apartment and everything about it are wonderful. There is everything you need, the beds are comfortable, the terrace very nice. We were immediately helped with every question, whether in terms of electricity, mobile internet or just where you get fresh bread. We also used the car along with a super nice, helpful and reliable driver. I would want to stay with Sophia again with every stay. Thanks for two great weeks!

We had a great time at Florence's apartment. The apartment is close to several places of interest in Cotonou. The neighborhood is quiet. Spacious and very well equipped apartment. I was in Dakar with my twin sister celebrating our birthday. Aida’s apartment was clean, well-appointed, and close to the beach for morning walks. Aida is a responsive and flexible host. She immediately assisted us with a few hiccups we had during our stay. Our teens, who were on break from an intensive Qu’ran program appreciated the smart tv and Netflix! We appreciated the thoughtful touches like bath soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The kitchen is suitable for a longer stay with oven, microwave, coffee machine and air fryer. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated Aida’s hospitality!! Thank you.

Fatou's apartment is really super chic, very spacious and to top it off the cleanliness and good smell were really there. Fatou and her entire team were really attentive, very professional with clear and precise communication, and all with excellent customer orientation.
