This small cabin has recently been re-built with new pine paneled walls and ceiling, bunk beds, carpeting, electricity, a new Eco-outhouse!, solar shower and It is located at the edge of a field about 100 yards from our home. It is a perfect base camp for hikers 12 miles south of Franconia notch trail heads and Appalachian Trail crossing. The cabin is most often used by hikers who want a base camp near many of the most popular hiking trails near Franconia Notch. It is a peaceful and quiet place.

My friend and I needed a night to escape traffic & the busy life. We had such a great experience here! It's in a great location, walking distance to the river. Super close to the covered bridge and waterfall. The rooms are clean and adorable, the yard is comfortable and the hot tub was perfection! We will be here again!

Wow, what an amazing place! I just spent the most peaceful weekend here and I’m already missing it. Brenda’s property is so secluded and quiet - you literally have the whole place to yourself with the most beautiful views. The lean-to setup was perfect and staying right by the brook was incredible. I loved being able to jump in the clear water whenever I wanted! The fire pit area with the Adirondack chairs was my favorite spot to just sit and listen to the water. Brenda was such a sweet host and gave great directions ( The GPS will tell you you’re there 3 blocks before you’re actually there.) She thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. This was exactly the healing weekend I needed. No phone service means you really disconnect and just enjoy nature. I slept so well listening to the brook all night. I can’t thank Brenda enough for sharing this special spot with guests. I’m definitely coming back - it’s become my go-to place when I need to recharge.

Welcome To "The Moose Camp"

Stephanie and Brian were excellent hosts and 'Piece of Peace' as they called it, checked all of our boxes. From the start of our trip, which involved having to shift our dates which they were SO accommodating to, they made sure we had everything we needed. My wife and I were spending our anniversary and needed a quiet sanctuary to escape and always lean on locals for recs, Stephanie had a full list of outdoor / food / brewery adventures for us and we took her up on most of them. The house itself is situated looking over a beautiful river and visit of trees during peack Leaf Peeping season and during the day we took in all the color followed by the best fire pit experience I've ever had at an Air BnB. We cannot thank them enough for making this trip perfect for us and excited to bring back some friends next time!

My husband, son and daughter had a wonderful stay . . . so many birds!!! Very cozy space and Mallory was just wonderful and helpful with everything. Too bad the weather was rainy over the weekend because my son wanted to hike the nearby trail :) Hope to meet you someday when you come up to our area in Maine . . We plan on booking some point in the future. Our daughter goes to a nearby school and the location was perfect!
