The essentials – charming house

The vacation home "L'essentiel" is located in the small authentic village of Resteigne, on the edge of Lesse, a few kilometers from Han-sur-Lesse and Rochefort, offering the possibility to discover the Famenne and the Ardennes. Recently renovated (2024) while maintaining its authenticity and soul, it will allow you to get away from it all in a warm setting. Warning: my place is exclusively for rent via AirBnb. Lavacherie is located in the heart of the Ardennes, halfway between La Roche and Bastogne, a short walk from Saint-Hubert.

This vacation home is intended for 4 to 5 people with paved terrace, garden, garden furniture and private parking, as well as a covered shelter for strollers and bicycles. Although ANIMAL-friendly, we do NOT allow them inside the cottage. We also want this cottage to remain a NON-SMOKING space.

The cottage is located in a small village, right next to the church. It is close to many tourist attractions: Han caves, Han animal park, Lesse Kayak descent, Rochefort town, Vêves, Lavaux Sainte-Anne, Freÿr castles, Dinant town... You will appreciate the cottage for the cozy atmosphere of the interior, the calm, the nature. In winter, you can enjoy a good wood fire and in summer you can enjoy a large private terrace with barbecue.

The "Mountain", quiet and natural next to Dinant

It's worth it, the Mountain. The house is located on a flank of the Meuse Valley. When you take the centuries-old pilgrims' path, you are happy to arrive, breathing at the foot of the Dinant wall. Our family home is there, waiting for you. It was our grandfather who hung it on the rock "to prevent it from sliding down". My brothers and I decided to keep it and occasionally open it to other lovers of the region.
