Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Wayne County

Michael was quick to respond to questions/concerns and gracious to let us add family members when they managed later to get off work for part of the long weekend. The house was clean and felt roomy and comfortable for our extended family and had a pack 'n play for the baby. There was plenty of everything we needed: pillows, blankets, towels, dinnerware, flatware and glasses. In our experience, most places stock the bare minimum; it was great not to have to wash glasses or spoons every time we needed one or run the dishwasher three times day! We did a fair amount of cooking, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We appreciated the 3.5 bathrooms on busy mornings. The location was perfect for us. We love quiet Doylestown and were close to our reunion venues and a large variety of activities. We would gladly stay here again!

We booked the whole house for us and our adult children and spouses for a family wedding nearby. There was plenty of room and closet space , as well as clean bathrooms and a clean kitchen. the front porch is a great area to sit and relax! Adam was always in contact and followed up promply after check in and check out. Would definitely recommend. Lots places to eat and hang out within a 10 min drive.

Many extras with this stay: hair dryer, coffee, condiments, TV in every bedroom. Very nice, and it suited our needs perfectly. Great hosts and beautifully appointed home.

Is a super beautiful, comfortable and super clean house with all the amenities one would want in a place. The house itself more than earned its 5 stars. I loved the city!!! Everything was excellent!!!

The perfect place for our pleasant passage. We were with wonderful wanderers wayfaring to a wedding from Washington. We surely showed Sherri appreciation for the vacation! Thanks for the hospitality!

Wow! A pleasure to spend a week at this amazing place. Just what we wanted as we visited family. The charm of the totally renovate old home. The majestic old trees. The beautiful lake, birds, and five orphaned fox pups being cared for by Doug made “our place” a favorite of the grandkids to visit. What more could we ask for. We’ll be often.

This old house is a gem . Amenities was up to date but the feel of the history of this old house was still there . Only issues we had was the washing machine did not work and traveling with an infant, washer is a must but we made it work . Suggestions : needs a hand bar in the shower ( shower was beautiful though ) and locks on the bathroom doors . Other then that your have a beautiful home in the country and if we ever need a place to stay again while in Wooster we will definitely stay again !

Easy to find and get into even after a long drive. Will book again when I am working in North Canton.

This place was amazing, spotless and beautiful, location was perfect right in the center of the town with a gorgeous view of the courthouse right outside the window. We absolutely loved it and want to come back!

If you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil setting, then this is the place for you. They had a delightful bird feeder set up right off of the living room area that was very relaxing to sit and watch. I am not sure that we have ever stayed at an Airbnb that was as clean as this one. It was exactly what we were looking for and cannot wait to return!

The Historic Canal Retreat home has been beautifully renovated and decorated. All the rooms are extremely spacious with more than enough room for 4 adults or a family. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen, living room and one bedroom all face the canal on the backside of the home. There are coffee shops, restaurants and shops all just steps from the home. The large front porch with rocking chairs added to the charm. Sarah was extremely responsive to any questions or concerns, typically responding within 5 minutes. I highly recommend staying at the Historic Canal Retreat.

The space is much bigger than the photos suggest. Private parking was a plus. Also the area is very walkable. With near by restaurants and bars. The space was great. Would highly recommend

This was our first time in the Millersburg and we will be booking this apartment every time we’re in the area! The apartment is GORGEOUS and looks even better than the pictures! It’s very spacious, clean, and it even smells so nice! The instructions on where to park are very clear. The neighborhood has good restaurants, coffee, and ice cream, and it’s a perfect location near all the Millersburg/Berlin/Sugarcreek attractions.

We wanted to spend a weekend away in Amish Country, and this was a great place. It is close to all the attractions and restaurants in the area. The house is immaculate and very comfortable, with off-street parking, and it made for a great trip. We will stay at this location again. This is an excellent choice if you want to visit this area. Hillside Villa was an amazing stay! Was very conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Berlin but also very quiet and peaceful. Was also very easy to find. We had the Hillside View Suite and it was an amazing view. Everything was very clean and above expectations. The owners are very responsive with communication. We will definitely be returning for future trips!

Hillside was a unique staying experience. It was very much a hostel style environment where there were a lot of shared common spaces and a good chance you will run into other guests. Which could make for a pretty unique experience if the other guests are sociable or friendly. It can also create an awkward experience if the others guests are loud or prefer privacy. The place was listed with washer dryer but we had to call to get access when the host said none was available upon arrival. The house is very large and up on a hill over looking the countryside. There was a faint musty smell in the home and some areas with water damage signs. The basement was a little worse with the smell. The pool table had seen better days and someone left it standing with a partially broken/unscrewed leg. We wanted to enjoy the downstairs tv area but the smell was a bit overwhelming. The place had a lot of potential. The room we stayed in itself was nice with it's own whirlpool tub. Kitchen access a plus!

Absolutely beautiful home. Perfectly located to explore Amish country. Beyond clean, super easy check in/out. Jeremy was so kind and communicative! We will certainly return!!

We loved the quiet, peaceful atmosphere! This was our 3rd stay at Hillside and it won’t be our last!

We had a lovely stay! The wrap around covered porch with views of the rolling Amish farmlands was gorgeous. The double access to the room made it easy to bring in our belongings from our car without tromping through the shared space. The bed was very comfortable. The bath was huge and the jet tub was a nice surprise. We built a fire in the outdoor firepit and four other guests joined in for conversation. We really enjoyed having our own rocking chairs just outside our door to drink our wine in the evening and coffee in the morning while taking in that beautiful view! Late at night we enjoyed a few rounds of pool in the lower Game Room. If you are bird watchers, I highly recommend a visit here. From the Mockingbird that sits on the fencepost just under our room, to the numerous songbirds darting about and the rare Kestrel hiding in the Walnut trees. My Merlin App was lighting up with more birds than we could imagine! I highly recommend this Airbnb that is just a minute from town.

Brett and Kim’s house was nothing short of amazing for our group of 10. It was perfect for a weekend at Gervasi. Conveniently located, private, and extremely clean! Not a detail went unnoticed.
