Cabin vacation rentals in Wayne County

Our home and stay was fantastic! House was perfect for what we needed and we had a great time!

The cabin was just as described. It was decorated nicely and had a stocked kitchen garage with ping pong air hockey and a wonderful hot tub! Peaceful and private we enjoyed the rain while relaxing inside. We ate at a newer restaurant called the Rex family restaurant highly recommended!

Its a great place to stay. This cabin offers a serene retreat surrounded by nature, making it ideal for families or groups seeking relaxation and outdoor enjoyment.

We planned this trip months in advance. Unfortunately a couple days before our trip a tornado went through the area. She immediately contacted us when she learned the power was out. We decided to go to the house and see if it had been restored but the power was still out. Megan went above and beyond to help us and was able to provide us another place to stay. We had a wheelchair bound family member with us so we were not easy to accommodate. We were not at this original location long but it was clean and as described. I know it would have been a great place to stay.

Amazing cabin with amazing views. Everything was clean and spotless. Our host, Sarah, was friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. We had a little glitch with the entry code, but it was quickly resolved. It is a long winding road to the cabin, about 15 miles. Take your time and enjoy the view. I would suggest taking hwy 196 out of Nancy, your GPS might suggest a slightly different route, but 196 worked best for us. Be prepared for an amazing view as you reach Cave Springs Rd. WOW! Also, be sure to pick up your groceries before heading to the cabin. There is a small grocery store in Nancy, otherwise larger stores are available in Somerset, about 45 minutes from the cabin. If you want to do any walking, we would not suggest using the road by the cabin, it's a bit narrow with lots of twists and turns and no shoulders and could be a little dangerous. Save your walks for the numerous parks in and around the area. Overall we had a Great Time! Thank You Sarah! - Tom & Jan

My kids and I spent six amazing days together in Burnside. The house was lovely. The area was beautiful. The house was stocked with all the things. Jennifer was very responsive the few questions I had. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the cabin! The cabin was very clean and well taken care of. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful as well! Brandon went out of his way to ensure we were in the loop regarding potentially icy/weather and road conditions, and was very communicative and accommodating! We had a great experience and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home. Perfect for our family time together. Host was very pleasant and the communication was very good. Unfortunately, the home owner lives next door and was actively involved with our stay in her home. Day 1, she approached us very aggressively by yelling in the windows because the windows were open while the AC was running. I had been cooking in the oven and heated up the house. I turned on the AC, however, I didn’t get the windows shut before she came over with her phone in her hand as though she was recording. The host came to apologized and brought us cookies and ice cream, which was very nice. Unfortunately, the home owner made us feel very uncomfortable and set the tone for making us feel as though we were being watched throughout the rest of our stay. I can only assume the homeowner went to complain to the host otherwise, she wouldn’t have known what happened because I didn’t call the host to complain about her behavior.

This was a hidden gem! Loved our stay, and the close proximity to Wolf Creek Marina. The house was 100% as advertised and Brenda was so accommodating! Always available for questions with an open line of communication. She even went as far as to include complimentary toiletries and snacks for our group. Would absolutely recommend anyone looking for a place to stay out at Lake Cumberland. Thanks Brenda!

Sal's place was fantastic. My husband & I stayed 4 nights. This was our 1st AirBNB stay. I was a little skeptical because it was welcome to pets, so was expecting a doggie smell, but none! I was amazed by the place being fully stocked with everything we needed including nice linens, towels, cookware, maps, absolutely everything we needed for a comfy stay. The amount of electronics, WiFi, gaming systems was a definite plus. The gas stove and kitchen appliances are top notch. The bathroom shower was beautiful. The master bed was a queen w/ a mattress I need to get. Plenty of comfy couches, great screened in porch. Wonderful outside shower, grill, fire pit, hammocks that @ night show you a beautiful starry sky, great neighbors Steve & his wife. We definitely want to come back to the Krispy Kreme Cottage. There is a boat launch just down the road to Cumberland Lake which is amazing. Nice people, good food to find close @ the Eli Country Store on 76 and the Kountry Kafe on 1611.

We had a very peaceful weekend. We felt right at home. We needed peace and found it. It was clean. We were able to cook as we normally do. The air conditioner was the hard to understand but we managed to use the fans he provided and were comfortable. The water was always nice and hot to shower. It was close to gas stations and restaurants and grocery stores. We made a trip to one of the falls and enjoyed the drive. There is internet. But the most important thing is aspect was peaceful and allowing our dog to come along and feel welcome.

We absolutely loved this place!!! It had everything you would need in a “home away from home”. They thought of every detail and we will definitely be back. Everything is so clean and beautifully decorated!!! It’s so nice to have the host be so communicative and helpful. Very nice accommodations all around. We loved the binder with all the information when we arrived. Everything was so well organized too!!!

The hosts were so friendly! We were arriving to the property late at night and tom stayed up late to make sure we found our cabin. The place was clean and warm. The decor was amazing! We felt right at home. We were welcomed to feed the koi fish and even got to meet their furry friends. The property was beautiful. Overall 10/10 and would definitely stay again!

Lisa was a wonderful host. From the beginning she was helpful and always responded bavk to me. The house was very accommodating to our family of 7. Lots of extras that we appreciated. The bedding was so soft. I realize there was a broom after 3 days of staying it was outside on the back porch. Also I found the washer and dryer I never remembered reading about it. Its in the bathroom off the kitchen the double doors. You have to take the closet door off the hinges to access the dryer. That is some important information. Thanks for everything Lisa.

This was a very peaceful and relaxing place for our weekend.

My family booked both cabins, it was a really beautiful place and the host was amazing! It gets a lil sketchy when you’re on the way in, but it was definitely a hidden gem.

We had a rough visit but only because of the weather over all the place was beautiful. Easy to find and easy communication. They also checked on us in the storm several times. We lost power which ended our trip the next morning but I was thankful me and my family was okay. We look forward to visiting again thank you so much!

The cottage was clean, neat, and modernly decorated absolutely no complaints or concerns. A must see is the Mill Spring civil war museum it opened in 2019. It will take a day to properly tour it. There is a 21 mile audio tour around the battle sites. The scenery is stunning and would be spectacular in the fall. A 13 minute drive to the Urban StillHouse restaurant- features an upscale dining experience that you won’t forget. They have a professional chef that came out to our table to chat. It was simply the best meal I have had in years, the presentation of the meal and sides was first class and our waiter was super attentive. Very cozy ambiance with a large gas fireplace was very inviting. There is a jazz bar across the street to complete the evening. If you’re bringing the whole family the swimming pool is about 100 steps away. Boat rentals are available at the marina. If hiking is more your style there are plenty of trails - but the easiest best groomed are the trails at the museum.

Sarah was an exceptional host! The house was a perfect place for our family vacation of 11 people—grandparents, parents, and kids of all ages. We loved having enough space for everyone and especially enjoyed time on the porch together!

Kristen is a great host. Responsive and knowledgeable. Extremely helpful with questions. Fantastic host!! The cabin is great. Quick walk to the marina, which is very peaceful. Nice and quiet, and relaxing. Had all we needed.
