Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Waterbury

Julie is an outstanding host! This house is perfect for any getaway. It was clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and STUNNING outdoor area with a gorgeous pool. This is 3 FULL baths and 1/2 bath!! Two kitchens! Two family rooms! You had space! It made you want to relax! The kitchen was well stocked with any utensil or appliance you would need. It was private. You could really escape and get away. Woodbury and the surrounding towns were jampacked with things to do. There were many places to choose from to eat. Such a variety from steak, seafood, pizza, and American fare pubs and other specialty restaurants. Lots of variety/antique shops, flea market, wine/liquor stores, convenience stores. Just a short drive into Southbury you find more shops, antiques, restaurants, bigger, grocery store, etc. We also drove to a few other neighboring towns. All under 45 minutes. Friendly people! We had a wonderful time! Price is fabulous, house/outdoor area is A+ value! Thank you Julie!!

It’s feels like pressure to write a review that stands up to ALL the other incredible reviews. I suppose we should stop there because that says it all. But we will add this: Ellie and Tower either wrote the book on hospitality or they read it 100 times. There is no doubt you will get the sense that everything is done with an eye to making you happy and comfortable…. And they do that in Spades. If this place caught your eye… act now… it will capture your heart as well.

From the moment we drove up it felt like we were on a movie set! It was the Christmas season and the entire home was decorated with lights, trees, and wreaths....absolutely stunning. Did I mention the extended property? WOW...breathtaking!! William met us and showed us around Ferris House, which he took great pride in. Every corner of every room is so special. We celebrated Christmas with our Connecticut family and they all agreed....the home was cozy and perfect. The beds were comfortable, the house temperature was just right (it was winter after all), gorgeous furnishings everywhere, the kitchen fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, lots of hot water for showers (we were 4 adults) plus the best espresso maker! We are in Connecticut quite often and this will be our new home away from home! Can't wait to come back.

We had a great stay at Erin’s place! It was quiet and peaceful. The house had anything you could need and the kitchen is great! Erin was really responsive with any questions we had and provided plenty of information on the area. The driveway is a doozy, but the listing was upfront about that. A small price to pay to be at a great location atop a hill.

We came in for a bridal shower. I 100% recommended to other out of towners this listing. Wanted to stay a few more days but our schedules wouldnt allow. It is definitely worth the 5 star review!! Will be staying here in the future to visit my sister less then 2 miles away!!

The house was wonderful! We stayed for my daughter’s graduation and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The special touches like having the kitchen so well stocked and toiletries in all of the rooms was especially nice, and the house had plenty of room for everyone to relax and spread out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

this place is magical. my sisters and I have stayed here twice now, for her wedding and now for mine. both times the home has been clean and the overall experience has been wonderful.

My wife, our two kids, and our friends who also have kids had a spectacular time staying at Lindsey's over Memorial Day Weekend. We booked last minute but were very pleasantly surprised at how much fun we ended up having in the area as well as Lindsey's place in particular. It's a beautiful house, immaculately kept, easy check in and check out, with absolutely everything we could possibly have needed. There were all kinds of really fun activities for the kids and us both at the house and in the surrounding neighborhoods which made our stay memorable. We'd highly recommend this spot for anyone, especially with kids, looking for a weekend or longer getaway. Thanks so much, Lindsey!

Jaime and Wilson are amazing hosts, sweet and attentive. Their place is tastefully decorated and they made small tweaks to the house for my partner and I and left a card for us. They also leave umbrellas for their guests in case it rains, which happened and we got to use them. Their attention to small details, in addition to how clean and comfortable the place was, made the stay super memorable. 🩵

Pamela’s home felt like home away from home. This place has all you would need for your restful stay with lots to of close things to do and great places to eat. We loved her home for all the privacy, comfort and quite neighborhood it’s always nice. We woke up ro birds chirping every morning. Private parking was a must for my family and her place provided it. We will calm her home our CT home when we need to go back and visit. Thank you for all your hospitality. Until next time.

This was the perfect spot for an overnight trip! The apartment was clean & stocked with everything you might need during the stay. Parking was available right down the street & it was within walking distance to the Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater!

Unser Aufenthalt war rundum gelungen! Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll eingerichtet, häuslich und unglaublich gemütlich – man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause. Alles war absolut sauber und sehr gepflegt, was uns besonders wichtig ist. Der Kontakt war super freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer schnell erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können diesen Ort uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Janet's place was perfect for my visit. plenty of space in the apartment to spread out. it had everything I needed and didn't feel cluttered. and it was squeaky clean.

Wow!!! This is the nicest airbnb I have ever stayed in. The property is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by trees with lots of privacy. The cottage itself is immaculate (I’m very particular about cleanliness). The dining area is stunning with skylights and beautiful trees outside and great light! The hosts were also so welcoming and friendly, they included so many nice touches for my baby including a pack and play/travel crib, diaper changing area, and toys! I hope to stay here again every time we come to this area!

We had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect. The view of the water was everything and was accessible from nearly every room. The home was modern and easily accommodated our large group. Yet it was cozy and beautifully appointed with all the amenities you would ever want. It is ideal for children with every toy imaginable. There was a highchair and a pack and play for our toddler and child appropriate dishes. The kitchen was fully equipped and had 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers and 3 tables for dining. The beautiful pool and hot tub were in constant use. Mary is very thoughtful and assembled a ringed binder with important contacts and suggestions for dining, shopping and entertainment. Although there was no beach on the property there are nearby beaches. The towns of Guilford and (nearby) Madison are charming and well worth visiting. Mary was very accommodating and responded promptly to several inquiries.

A beautiful venue for our intimate wedding! While the house was historic and charming, the garden is the absolute show stopper. A perfect setting for our wedding, which includes our 3 dogs! Love the pet friendly space. The fireplace was so cozy. Upstairs bathroom was especially pretty. We ran out of time and didn't get to use the Jacuzzi, but it looked so welcoming!

Such a great stay at this lakeside spot in Bridgeport! The place was very modern and beautifully designed. Everything felt fresh and up to date. The lake view was amazing, and we enjoyed hanging out outside by the water. It was perfect for our large family and worked out well for our long stay while our house was being fixed. It felt nice and private, but still so close to everything we needed. Daymane was a great host—friendly and easy to stay in touch with the whole time. Would def stay here again!

Our family had a very enjoyable stay! The home and surroundings were beautiful, everything was extremely clean and organized, our host was wonderful! We absolutely loved the tea ceremony! It was very educational! We will definitely stay here again when we return to New Haven!

We hosted a family gathering and this house was absolutely perfect. It was stunning! Lots of curiosities in the house. Had a grand piano that we could use for entertainment. The place was clean, pool was well situated, beautiful balcony for meeting up with friends and family. We booked it for Yale graduation weekend and no hotel in the area could match the experience we had.
