If lucky, you could enjoy a mid winter blizzard while staying warm and toasty. Enjoy a glass of wine on the porch during a cool summers evening. We never know what nature will throw at us!

Yurt camping in Doe Bay area

Relax in a spacious yurt on the side of Mount Pickett next to Moran State Park. Less than a five minute drive to Doe Bay Resort. Twelve miles past Eastsound on the Horseshoe Highway and 20 miles from the ferry landing. The yurt has an outdoor kitchen space with a camp stove and most of the utensils for preparing and serving food. There is an outdoor fire spot and a picnic table for outdoor relaxing and dining. There is also an outdoor shower and outhouse with a composting toilet.

Relax and enjoy some time in the country in this comfortable yurt located in beautiful Ridgefield, Washington! Get a feel for the outdoors while glamping in style and still close to small town amenities. Restaurants, grocery stores, U-pick farms, wineries, equestrian facilities, hiking, fishing, boating and birding/wildlife viewing are all nearby. Situated at the property’s entrance, guests have their own private area. Hosts live in the house nearby. A bundle of firewood is included!

Puget Sound View Yurt (Dry Camping)

A yurt in the forest with a water view. Less than 2 miles away from Vashon town and the best walking beach on the island (KVI Beach). The yurt is 200 square feet inside with a fold-out futon bed that sleeps 2. There is a water pump just outside where you can get water if needed...but no sink, shower, etc. There is an outhouse. Think of this as dry camping. If you need a place to flop and reset while exploring and having fun on Vashon, this is for you! Note: Off-property parking.

Ours has a full kitchen, queen sized bed, indoor powder room, attached shower room and private deck in a temperate rainforest setting. Free of streetlights to enjoy stargazing. Pets welcome. Located less than a mile to the Nisqually entrance for quick access and avoiding the long lines on busy weekends!

The yurt is a great place to disconnect and unwind in every season. We built it as a family and we’re excited to share it with you. Yurt has full kitchen, bath & laundry. Private road access, tucked in the back corner of our 5 acres. The hot tub is midway between our house and the yurt. It is solely yours to use during your visit. Please purchase Trip Insurance.
